With all his strength and might, the vampire leaped a few feet in the air and came falling gracefully. Even if Dezhong were to somehow miraculously escape, there was no strength left, neither was there the will for him to fight. Malkius could kill him if he wanted to, but for some dubious character development reason, he decided not to.
Just as Malkius was about to touch the ground, his body was met with an incredible force that knocked him down harder than anything he experienced in his life. While Malkius was blown back, Dezhong's body was caught amidst the chaos and gently placed against a car in a position that allowed him to see Malkius' body rolling on the ground.
