CH199: THE FULL MOON: KILL IT.
The encounter between Dezhong and the feline beast abruptly came to an end. As soon as Dezhong sensed the presence of other humans, his body developed a mind of its own. Before his very eyes, Dezhong witnessed the darkness within the forest attack those before him without physically damaging their bodies. His werewolf senses couldn't process whatever had happened, yet he somehow knew that the Shadow King was behind all of this. Nonetheless, as soon as it came to an end, the young werewolf was whisked away by the same shadow wolves, which eventually dropped him at the edge of the forest.
Ahead of him was a vast, empty space with nothing but endless dunes of sand, dried-up plants, shrubs, scrap metal, and millions of corpses rotting and decomposing all over. In all of Desper and RedZone, this was the most dangerous place, for it harboured some of the world's most dangerous beasts. Luckily, these beasts did not exceed the King tier, but that didn't make it any safer.
