Innovate Clear!

Innovate Clear, also known as the 'Miniature Garden of the Green Tree of Innovation,' is one of the Longinus-class Sacred Gears with the potential to kill gods.

Let's backtrack a little. Sacred Gears are artifacts created by Judeo-Christian God in High School DxD. Those artifacts are God's attempt to help humanity, who are oppressed by supernatural creatures. Sacred Gears have various abilities from doubling the power to healing any wounds.

Amongst many Sacred Gears, there are unique and powerful Sacred Gears that are more potent than the rest. They are so powerful that they have the potential to kill gods if correctly used. These Sacred Gears are christened as Longinus, after the Holy Spear Longinus, the first and most potent Sacred Gear that killed Jesus Christ.

Innovate Clear is one of these potent, god-slaying tools. It can create an ideal world in another dimension, in which the user can create a near-perfect imitation of living beings. In short, you can create a world according to your belief as well as creating many OP goons who are only obedient and loyal to you.

However, Innovate Clear has one restriction that makes it considered as low-tier Longinus. That restriction is that anything—living beings and inanimate objects—that are created by Innovate Clear cannot exist outside of its world.

It seems like such a severe restriction to have, and Haru will agree if he doesn't know any better.

Although Haru isn't a fanatic fan of High School DxD, Haru watched the anime and read the Wikia fandom. He still remembers the information written on that platform, thanks to his enhanced memory. He has read High School DxD Wikia fandom because of his curiosity.

Haru believes that he can circumvent the severe restriction of Innovate Clear. He doesn't know the real Balance Break of this disgustingly powerful artifact. However, he has faith that he can develop a Sub-Species Balance Break that functions similar to Reality Marble from Type-moon series.

When he unlocks that kind of Sub-Species Balance Break, he will be able to materialize his creation outside of that ideal world. That is just like how Archer from Fate/Stay Night or Rider from Fate/Zero, who can deploy their weapons and army outside of their Reality Marbles.

He feels excited when he imagines how he can spam powerful weapons like Garcher or have a loyal army of anime characters on his back like Broskandar!

Haru wants to start playing with his new toy as soon as possible. He then makes up his mind to bind Innovate Clear to his soul in a hurry.

There is a screen asking his confirmation, and Haru doesn't think twice about taking the 'Yes' option. Thankfully, there is no pain. Yet, he experiences a strange sensation as if he's realized the existence of a new muscle he can flex with a thought.

When Haru accesses his system's menu, he finds out 'Innovate Clear' has been added in the Abilities tab. He 'Analyzes' the new addition and discovers how to use his new overpowered toy.

Wasting no time, Haru sits in a meditative posture and then enters the ideal world of Innovate Clear. Then, his body disappears from his room.

When Haru opens his eyes, he finds himself on a barren island floating inside an incomprehensible place; the place is dark yet contains swirling colors. From analyzing Innovate Clear before, he knows that the island has a total area of 7857.1429 m².

Haru then looks at the green bud that sprouts out of the barren, rocky ground. It is the core of Innovate Clear, the green seed that he previously obtained from Lottery.

It seems like it has grown a bit after it has fused with Haru's soul.

'It takes my stamina and mental energy to develop and create something in here, right?' Haru recalled what he knew of Innovate Clear from his 'Analysis.'

Haru accesses his system and appoints his Points to Vitality and Mind. 2 points each. He then witnesses how the island expands by a hundred times, and the bud grows to a small tree. What's more, he feels that the upper limit of his creation has risen up and that he can increase the speed of the time flow in this world. The latter isn't much; he can only double the flow of time for the time being.

'That is neat and all. Now, let see if some living beings created here are considered 'units' by my system.'

Haru starts experimenting. He begins with an ant but quickly discovers that it isn't considered as a 'unit' by the system. He creates bigger animals one by one until he finds that a mouse is considered as a 'unit' by the system.

It is a cute, white-furred mouse, which often becomes a pet instead of a pest.

In truth, Haru has misgivings in killing it for XP.

After resolving himself, Haru uses his authority as the possessor of Innovate Clear to kill the cute little thing. The mouse dies and disappears as if it never existed, just like an illusion.

'My XP went up by zero point one percent. So low…' Haru mentally complained.

'Anyway, I feel nothing from killing that mouse, huh? Am I actually a psycho? I hope not. Well, whatever! Now, let's see if a bigger animal can give me more XP.'

Haru moves on with his experiment. He creates and kills various animals, from a cat, a dog, a cow, a bear, and lastly, an elephant.

'They gave me the same amount; only zero point one percent! Is it because they are created by Innovate Clear? Should I kill a stray cat or dog to find out? Wait! Stop! What the hell am I thinking?!'

Haru is surprised after realizing his dangerous thought. He quickly dismisses that; he doesn't want to become a psychopath, thank you very much!

He then focuses on his next action; he is going to do power-leveling here.

'Since creating a mouse drains a negligible amount of energy, I will use it in a large amount to grind my level. Alright! Let's start now!'

Haru creates 994 mice. It will raise his XP gauge by 99.4%; he has obtained 0.6% from killing the first mouse to the elephant.

With a thought, Haru kills and makes the mice disappear. Then, he obtains a 'level-up' notification.

Haru quickly spends his Points for Vitality and Mind. 3 each. Then, he witnesses the world around him grow exponentially. In fact, his world has become a hospitable planet. Admittedly, it's a dreary place without greenery and water, only wasteland and rocky mountains existed there. Even so, he can fill this world with anything.

Then, the small green tree. Well, it can't be called 'small' anymore. It has grown to a massive tree that reminds Haru of the World Tree in Alfheim Online of the 'Sword Art Online' series.

However, what took Haru's real interest is his ability to speed up the time flow of this world. At this point, he can speed up the time of this ideal world by ten billion times!

Admittedly, the time unit is in 'Second.' Still, one second at the outside of this world is around 2,777,777 hours, or 11,574 days, or 380 months, or 31 years here!

He can have long training montage as he pleases without caring time passed outside!

'What to do now? Should I spend a long time here or stop this mad plan now?' Haru contemplated for a few moments.

As of now, Haru has stayed in this world for a few minutes.

'Ah, well. I guess I will spend my time here to become OP. After that, I won't have problems at the outside! Yup! Let's just do it!'

Haru made up his mind. He then sets the speed of this world's time flow to the maximum.
