A Sleepover!

Haru never considered he would receive the infamous puppy eyes in his life. In fact, he never believed their existence outside of fiction.

And yet, he is receiving the dreaded eye's power that can contend against the purple eyes with rings and comas decorating their surface.

Haru gulps loudly and falls into contemplation. Something in his mind is telling him to accept and be done with it. However, he wants to play hard to get. Why? There is no other reason besides his ego.

Well, actually, he wants to see Suzuka's adorable expression more. After all, it is quite rare for her to show something like that openly. Usually, she puts up a no-nonsense mask.

When Suzuka sees Haru forming a contemplative expression, she becomes anxious. She dearly hopes that her brother will agree. She continues presenting her upturned eyes.

After a few moments, Haru releases a fake, resigned sigh and gives Suzuka an indulging smile.

"Sure. I don't mind to be your stand-in."

"Really? Onii-chan, you weren't joking, right? You really agreed to be my stand-in, right?" asked Suzuka with high tension.

Haru simply nods his head, saying nothing. However, his action is enough to convince Suzuka.

"Thank you very much, Onii-chan!"

Suzuka presents a vibrant smile with her eyes shut. She is relieved after hearing Haru's answer.

"Of course, I will help you. I am your Onii-chan, after all. If you need help, you need not hesitate, Suzuka."

While Haru says so, he pets Suzuka's head tenderly.

Suzuka enjoys Haru's head-pat in delight. She is over the moon because today, some of her deepest desires have become true.

Just like her other version in 'My Sister, My Writer!', this Suzuka is quite delusional. Her mind is filled with many lovey-dovey and flirty scenario with her beloved Onii-chan.

If she is not like that, Suzuka wouldn't have been able to write her novel, which is where she pours her delusion concerning her desire with her beloved brother.

However, Suzuka is surprisingly pure. Although she is delusional, her imagination has never gone into the filthy gutter. She cannot think something like that without having her brain overheated from excessive stimulation.

But, enough with Suzuka. Back to Haru, he has his reason for accepting Suzuka's request. He plans to use his status as Suzuka's stand-in to release some novels from his past life.

As of now, Haru has written a dozen thousand characters of Sword Art Online. He won't stop it because he doesn't want to waste his effort. However, he already makes up his mind concerning his second novel after Sword Art Online.

Haru is going to write 'Oreimo.' After all, that series is never published in this alternate Japan.

"Do you need something else?" asked Haru after he stopped giving Suzuka a head pat.

"Um," Suzuka thinks for a bit before speaking, "There is nothing else. Ah. I almost forget to tell you this. The party and award ceremony is at the weekend and starts at four in the evening."

"I see," said Haru. "I have no appointment at that time. Concerning the location, could you tell me where this party will be held?"

"About that, wait for a moment! The invitation has been emailed to me. Let me get my laptop first."

Suzuka then leaves Haru's laps and goes to the door. She then opens the door and walks out. However, she stops when she finds Sora outside of Haru's room.

In truth, Haru is aware of Sora's presence outside of his room. Thanks to his ridiculous perception, sensing Sora is a small matter. However, he chose to ignore it. He doesn't mind Sora's quirk.

Haru then looks at the scattered papers on the floor. Suzuka has forgotten them. While he does that, he keeps his eyes on his sisters' talk outside of his room. Thankfully, they don't start a quarrel.

'Perhaps, it's still fresh in their minds,' Haru mentally remarked.

What he meant was his outburst before diner.

After Sora and Suzuka end their talk, Haru senses Suzuka leaving. However, Sora enters his room.

Haru finds Sora already wearing her nightgown. She is also carrying her iconic black-colored rabbit doll from the anime.

"Do you also need something?" asked Haru.

He has finished collecting the paper and put them on his desk. His attention is on Sora.

Sora wordlessly eyes Haru for a few moments. Then, she says,

"Can I sleep with you tonight?"

Haru blinks his eyes, caught off guard.

Unfortunately, Suzuka, hugging her laptop, enters the room at this moment. Her eyes open wide in surprise when she hears Sora's request.

Before a quarrel can start between his sisters, Haru chooses to reply.

"I don't mind."

Suzuka turns her attention to Haru immediately. She has a disbelieving expression.

"Wait for a moment! What were you two saying?! Onii-chan, Nee-san, you two!"

Before Suzuka went on her tirade, Haru interjects.

"Suzuka, you can join us, too. Actually, let make it a sleepover!"

Suzuka's mouth closes with a loud, *Click*! Meanwhile, Sora turns her head to the side and clicks her tongue in dissatisfaction.

Haru has a wry smile when he senses Sora's reaction. However, he doesn't reprimand her. There is nothing he can do to change Sora's troublesome personality at this point.

"Sleeping together with Onii-chan, is it?" mumbled Suzuka.

Her face slowly turns red, and she covers her lower face with her laptop. Her amethyst-colored eyes soon turn glazed as she imagines some lovely moments with her Onii-chan.

While Suzuka is immersing in her delusion, Sora moves to Haru's bed and sits at the edge. There's a complicated expression on Sora's face.

Sora is reminiscing Haru's confession this afternoon. She is sure that Haru is trying to move his relationship with her and Suzuka to the next step at the same time.

'He is serious with it, isn't he?' is Sora's thought as she looks at Haru from the corner of her eyes.

Sora is at a loss. She alternates her gaze between the dreaming Suzuka and Haru, who is looking back at her. She sees the knowing glint in Haru's eyes and can't hold the urge to curse him.

'Asshole!'

Although Sora cursed Haru in her mind, she didn't really hate Haru. It is impossible for Sora to hate Haru at this point. She just vented her frustration.

Sora feels that Haru is being unfair. He knows that she's incompatible with Suzuka, yet he wants both of them.

What a greedy man...

Back to Haru, he turns his attention to Suzuka. He has an inkling feeling concerning Sora's thoughts when he sees her sulky expression. He doesn't feel concerned because he feels confident with his chance to get both Sora and Suzuka.

In fact, Haru is turning on his 'Aura of Harem Protagonist' when he is in their apartment. He only turned it off when he was out to Hakou Academy to send and get Suzuka.

In truth, 'Aura of Harem Protagonist' is redundant for Sora and Suzuka. After all, those girls are already in love with their brother. Haru doesn't need it to make them fall in love with him. He only uses that ability to make them agree to share him.

Perhaps, someone will think such a thing is despicable. Haru doesn't think so. He knows that he can repair the girls' relationship with time. However, it will take time until they have an amicable relationship.

Haru does, no, cannot wait for that long. He has been enduring his urge since his gaze lands on Sora and Suzuka for the first time this morning.

Haru blames his hormone and the assimilated feelings of his predecessor for his predicament. He won't be this impatient if they don't screw his mind.

"So, do you have problems with having a sleepover?" asked Haru to Suzuka.

Suzuka recovers from her daze and looks at Haru. After a few moments passed, she bashfully nods her head.

"Then, we will have a sleepover tonight!" Haru declared while mentally thinking, 'All is according to plan~.'
