The sword still on Darrell's hands, and slightly above his head. Sweat formed on his forehead, then he lowered the sword down with both of his hands, his face reflects on the glass metal blade, as it goes down to his abdomen, Darrell stabs himself and instantly pulled it out of his stomach, blood covered the tip of the sharp blade as it spills all over the ground. Head spinning and he falls down on the ground lying on the pool of his own blood.

All these actions were all happening in Darrell's head as the reflection in the mirror keeps on telling Darrell. "Do it, Darrell, end it and you will be free,"

Darrell still with the sword in his hands decides to practicalize what he had just seen and he lowers the sword slowly down to his abdomen and immediately Darrell's mother appeared in front of him and held the tip of the sword before it penetrates into Darrell's stomach.

"Darrell my son...listen to me.. do not do this to yourself...do not kill yourself," Catherine said as tears formed in her blue eyes.

"No mom, I have to do this...I have to be with you and Dad.. that's where I belong mom, I will be with you and dad forever," Darrell said looking into Catherine's eyes, sweat dripping from his hands.

"I and your father have finished our quest, but you haven't, and you as a guardian must fulfill your quest before you die and that is the ultimate goal," Catherine said and held Darrell's face.

"But mom I can't do it alone," Darrell said with a croaked voice and teary eyes.

"You are not alone my son, and most of the things you see here right now are just illusions, break from it and win," Catherine adds and she starts to fade away.

"Mom! No!!" Darrell said as he reaches for her before she completely disappears. Darrell then exhales sadly and reminisced on what his mother said for a while.

"Break from it?" He muttered to himself. "How do I break from it?" he thought and he looked at the mirror, the reflection was still talking to him. "Kill yourself, Darrell, you know it's the only way out," the boy in the mirror said looking straight into Darrell's eyes.

Darrell looked closely at the mirror with anger in his eyes, then he moved his eyes to the sword and he slowly lifts the sword up almost as if he wanted to stab himself. "Yes Darrell do it, it's your way out," the reflection said laughing wickedly.

Then Darrell quickly moved his hand to the mirror and quickly stabbed the mirror without warning. The mirror breaks with the reflection screaming in pain and it disappears with the mirror.

"Escape from that you beast," Darrell said aggressively and pulled in back his sword.

After that, Darrell went down the maze in search of Alyssa and Berk. He took different paths and soon he found Alyssa lying down on the ground holding her neck with her two hands, trying to strangle herself to death, and she was rolling her body left and right on the floor.

Darrell raced to her with speed, afraid that she might kill herself.

"Alyssa!, Alyssa!!" Darrell called as he got to her and tried to remove her hand from her neck, but her grip was strong he couldn't remove her hand.

"Alyssa you have to stop this, do not do this to yourself...listen to me...what you are seeing, they are all illusions, do not listen to the mirror...you have to wake up...wake up Alyssa, do not do this to yourself," Darrell said still trying to remove Alyssa's hand from her neck.

"Darrell I have to do this...to just end it...that's the only way Darrell," Alyssa finally spoke up with her eyes shut.

"No Alyssa that's not you talking...the Alyssa I know will never give up...you are special, so different from girls I had met...a jewel-like you should not be lost that easily," Darrell said as tears rolled down his cheeks.

Alyssa's grip became weak and she releases her hand from her neck. Alyssa wakes up, then she looks at the place where the mirror is, only she could see it, the mirror screamed in pain and disappears.

Alyssa coughs and sits up and Darrell embraced her.

Alyssa and Darrell stood up quickly and left the scene. They ran as fast as they could and searched around for Berk, soon they found Berk on the floor lying down lifelessly, fear crept into Alyssa as the thought of Berk's death came into her mind.

"Berk! Berk!! Berk!!!" Alyssa called and hurriedly walked to where Berk laid, Alyssa touches him, he felt so cold, then she carries him on her shoulders. "Berk please do not do this to me, please wake up," Alyssa said amidst tears.

Darrell walked up to her and held her on her shoulders "it's okay Alyssa, let's get out of this place first...I am sure we will find a way out," Darrell said and helped Alyssa up on her feet.

Alyssa looks at Darrell sadly and nods in approval, then with Berk in her arms, they both ran out of the scene and soon they saw a shinning light and as they walked past the light, they got back to the front of the hill, the door vanished again.

Darrell held the medallion. "I wish we will get down back to land," Darrell said as he held Alyssa's hand and they both flew down to land again.

Alyssa carried Berk down from her shoulder and looked really sad as uncontrolled tears rolled down her eyes, she sniffed and wiped her tears with the back of her hand. "Please wake up Berk," Alyssa said in a really low tune.

Berk coughs lightly and opened his eyes "Alyssa is that you...wait are we in heaven already," Berk asked softly.

"Berk you are alive," Alyssa said excitedly and Darrell held Berk.

"So glad you are okay rabbit," Darrell said happily as he pets Berk on his head. Berk looked at both of them with surprise and smiled.

Darrell brought out the gem from his pocket and looked at it. "So glad you came out with us too," Darrell said and kissed the gem.

And suddenly the medallion shined brighter and a fairy mysteriously popped out from the pendant of the medallion. The fairy was a tiny human figure, smaller than a fist, it had tiny wings like that of a butterfly and it looked beautiful.

Alyssa, Darrell, and Berk looked surprised at the sight of the fairy.

"What are you?" Darrell asked. Darrell looked closely at it and walked close to it "wait...are you a fairy," Darrell asked with a chuckle.

"Yes, Darrell I'm a fairy," the fairy replied with a really amazing voice.

"But how is this possible?" Darrell asked confused.

"Darrell you have finally accomplished your first goal, now you must get to the next one," the fairy said with hesitation, ignoring Darrell's question. "Your quest awaits you," the fairy adds.

"My next quest?" Darrell asked surprised.

Alyssa and Berk still had their mouth open looking at the fairy surprised.

"Your next quest Darrell is to get the black crimstone, it is found in the meadow of shadows, your map will direct you there," the fairy said.

"Ok, how come about your existence," Darrell asked briskly.

"A long time ago, Monaserus was filled with magical creatures, before Norma Elspeth was enveloped with hatred and anger, she went into an evil fortress and Madea deal with an evil witch, who later transmitted most of her powers to Elspeth and that made her really powerful, she came back and killed every guardian in sight, and did a spell of extinction, and all the magical creatures in Monaserus disappeared, no one knows where they are again, I was luckily saved by Melissa, she got me locked in the medallion, I can only come out of it to congratulate you for your accomplished goals," the fairy said with a sad face.

"That's really bad, how are we going to make monaserus back to how it was," Darrell asked curiously.

"Norma Elspeth proclaimed that none of the creatures would ever be in existence as long as she is still alive," the fairy replied.

"Why would she do that?" Alyssa asked sadly.

"Nobody knows, but that's the reason for your quest, Darrell to save Monaserus you will have to kill Norma Elspeth," the fairy replied.

"Now I have to go back in, see you later...my lady," the fairy flies to where Alyssa stood, held her jaw, and said respectfully, Alyssa blushed and chuckled lightly.

"I will have to go back in now, see you guys later," the fairy said and went back into the medallion and the medallion turned back to normal.
