Trip to the Capital

A/N: Just a reminder: update schedule is that last week was Tye Doom Slayer in a Different Universe, this week is Avion Gods of Gods, then next week is One Hell of a Bartender. Updates should be daily unless something happens. Each week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday the reason why I'm saying this is because some people don't know how weeks work.

Also for the people that probably have skipped over the side story, that's fine, but when the Dark Empire get more involved in this world and other worlds you're going to be very very confused.

It has been a day since the Wizards have attacked and Gazef whom has recovered from his wounds is now next to a horse saying goodbye to Eucli and the villagers. But why not Avion and the other two? You may ask, well it's because Avion is going to the capital to make sure that Gazef gets there safely and to get more information about where they are.

A/N: I have forgotten what the Capitals name is so until I remember its name it shall be called The Capital until then.

Xana is in her true form but invisible until farther notice, this is one of her many abilities that she has. Her invisibility ability makes her body invisible and she makes no sounds when invisible; however she still leaves a man's signature and footprints so that's a drawback.

Another one of her abilities is called Feast. Feast is like the ability Devour, which alows you to eat anything and you gain its abilities, memory, and experience. But unlike Devour, Feast doesn't have a cool down timer and has one neat little add on, the add on is that the ones you feast on will be in your control until the user has no use for them anymore and then they will die.

"Well, Avion are you ready to depart?" Gazef said this to Avion whom was standing on the side of Gazef.

"Yep, Gazef I have a question. Do you feel sad or guilty or even anger about most of your men that have died?" Avion said this as he went up on a horse. Most of the Soldiers during the attack died but some of them survived, of corse not without scars and a bit of traumatized soldiers.

"Yes. Soldiers die all the time but I would rather die on the battlefield first than see any of my men fall." Gazef said this to Avion after he got on the horse. The soldiers that heard him felt their hearts got tugged on.

Okay Avion now knows that Gazef has a bit of remorse in his blood.

Gazef continued "to be honest? I feel guilty that most of my men died, but they tuned back around for me. So I don't know what to think. But I do know this: they are damn fools, but they are fools that I'm proud to ether live on the battlefied or to die on the battlefield, be it be death first or we win the battlefield and go on to another"

Avion heading Gazef felt like he met a man whom mostly lived on the battlefield, someone who had hoped that someone would save him and his village but they never came so now he does it himself, most likely so that no-one else has to go through what he has gone through again.

Avion decided to speak again "Gazef you may not know this, but you have a mind that a few have and a will that even a fewer have. I greatly respect you for your views." Avion said this as they left the sight of the village.

Avion continued "now, I present you a problem. If someone young and full of dreams and has the will to achieve those dreams, will you help them? Or will you tell them to think of something realistic?"

When Avion said this to Gazef it placed him into a thinking state, the reason why? Well there are many reasons.

One. Avion never said what dreams the person has, it could be bad or good.

Two. Gazef was in this place before, he used to be a weak person, he used to have a weak body. Now look at him, he's the Head Warrior of a Kingdom! Even though that wasn't his dream, he went further and pushed beyond his dream and achieved more.

Three. When Avion said this it reminded him of Climb, that young man has dreams, but his limit may have been reached. Every human has a limit that lower than the rest of the animal kingdom has. But they make that up with their numbers.

Gazef after thinking for an answer for almost five minutes he had his answer "yes, I would help them, even if they have reached their limits I will try to help them break their limits."

Hearing his words Avion's mind was brought back to his time learning magic, the things he tried to do to learn even more. Avion started out with the basic magic: Fire, Ice, Lightning, and earth. Then he learned more: Time, Space, Void. Then after almost 450 years he learned how to manipulate reality to a degree. It's a small degree but it's enough for him.

There was time that he almost gave up on magic and go back to playing games and watching TV. But that little girl would attack him with magic when he almost gave up.

Avion's mind was then brought to his greatest weakness of all; his reaction time, his plans, his strength, and his speed. He needed to make better plans, have faster reaction times and a lot more strength, and he needs to get faster. He just needs to find a place that can help him train. Until now he hasn't thought about his weaknesses, he always thought that his magic would be enough for him, but what happens when magic won't help?

Avion then spoke to Gazef. "Gazef, you have opened my eyes. But I'm sorry if I'm asking too much but, I hat do you think is your greatest weakness?"

Gazef looked at Avion, then spoke "My greatest weakness? I probably have two, I kind of rely on my Martial Art skills, that's why I'm training more when we get back. My second one is most likely speed, again more training is required to improve on that."

Avion started to see more similarities between him and Gazef, they have the almost the same weaknesses, they both rely on something and they need to train in speed.

Avion chuckled then spoke "We have more in common then, like you I rely on something and my speed is quite lacking; but unlike you I rely on my magic too much."
