Sudden change in mood

Hinata and Ino look at Naruto holding a white scroll with surprise and excitement. They can't believe that they can be so lucky.

"We can now hunt a weaker team and pass the exam easily," Ino said excitedly.

Naruto looks at Ino weirdly and asks "Are we so weak that we have to hunt weaker teams for a scroll?"

Ino feels embarrassed and she looks down.

Yeah, Naruto is very strong. Hinata is not weak either. She is the strongest kunoichi in their generation. It's just she is the only weak one here.

Hinata looks at Ino's embarrassed face and understands her feelings. So she held her hand and said shyly "You will get stronger soon. We just need to train harder."

Ino looked at Hinata's encouraging face and she felt touched. She takes a deep breath and nods at Hinata smilingly. 'Yeah, I just have to train harder.'

Naruto looks at the two loli encouraging each other and chuckles. Hinata is really good at this. With her innocent personality, others easily like her.

Naruto said "Okay, let's look around. We have plenty of time anyways."

Of course, if Naruto wants, he could finish the exam instantly but what's the fun in that?

Besides, he is waiting for a snake to show its face. He will play with it for some time and if possible, teach him a small lesson.

Hinata and Ino stay vigilant. With Hinata here, nothing can hide from her eyes. So sneak attacking them is impossible.

They don't know about Naruto's sensing ability. They only know that he also has some sensing ability but don't know how it works.

While they were walking Naruto explained to them things related to Ninjas and tried to increase their knowledge of traps, poisons and many other things.

Ino and Hinata listen attentively. They have only learned basics about them in the academy but somehow Naruto's information and knowledge are more advanced than the academy.

Naruto reminds Ino of Sakura. She is also a bookworm. She is sure that Sakura also knows all this. Maybe not everything but a lot more than her.

Suddenly Hinata threw a Shuriken at one of the trees. There is no hesitation in her attack anymore and she doesn't lack the intent either.

Naruto nodded his head. She has finally started to grow. If this continues she will surely become one of the strongest kunoichi in the world.

He won't say that she will be the strongest of all but she will stand at the top with others.

"Shit! I am found?" A Genin said as he moved out of the tree and immediately started running.

He is not here to fight. He is not stupid enough to fight that monster. He was actually hiding and trying his best to not get caught.

He is a Genin from Grass. Seeing the headband Naruto grinned evilly. He looked at Hinata and Ino and said "Wait here I will come soon."

They looked puzzled but nodded their heads. Naruto disappears from there and comes in front of the young boy who is running from them.

The young boy's face turned pale instantly when he saw Naruto standing in front of him. He stops immediately and falls back on the ground and starts to tremble.

Naruto looks at him expressionlessly and kills him instantly without asking any question. He then again vanishes from there and comes to another part of the forest.

He looks at the red-haired girl sitting on the ground with her head buried between her legs. A few Genin from the same country as that young boy are talking.

They would curse at the red hair from time to time. The young girl isn't replying to any of their curses. It's as if she accepted her fate a long time ago.

But suddenly she raises her head and looks at where Naruto is standing. Her face immediately turns pale when she finds out that it is Naruto. She has also experienced that killing intent too.

Naruto also notices her gaze. He is just surprised that she finds him. He has perfect chakra control. But she still notices him.

At that moment Naruto remembered her special ability. A unique ability that only a few Shinobi from Uzumaki possess is the mind eye. Mito also has this skill.

Naruto stops hiding and makes his entry.

"Who's there?" One of the Genin shouted. But the next second all of their faces turn pale. Some weak will fall down and crawl back.

Some just start running without any hesitation. They abandon their comrades and run for their lives.

Naruto isn't even looking at them. He continues to look at the red hair whose face is now pale and filled with fear and horror.

Seeing her mental condition, Naruto focuses his calming Aura on her and stops a little far from her.

He looks at her and says with a charming smile "Don't worry, I am not here to hurt you."

The red hair still can't stop her fear. She even starts to imagine her death. 'Is this how I die? Well, maybe it's better than living such a hellish life.'

With that thinking, she smiles and closes her eyes as she waits for the end.

Naruto looked at the girl and sighed. After the destruction of Uzumaki, most of the survivors had the same fate as her.

Either being used as pocket healing potions or for breeding. Even when he was watching the show he would feel pity for this clan.

Naruto can't help but release a strong chilling killing intent. The whole forest suddenly turned quiet. The bugs stop making noise and the beast hides in their territory.

Naruto calms himself down. This is not the time yet. He will take revenge for his clan.

Naruto summoned Mito. She immediately hugged Naruto in her embrace and said "Don't worry about the clan, my lord. As long as you are here, our clan will rise again."

Naruto relaxes and hugs her back. The red hair feels puzzling when she isn't feeling the pain she expects so she opens her eyes confusedly.

She sees that the orange-haired kid is now hugging another red hair like her instead of attacking her. And for some reason, she feels close to her. She reminds her of her mother.

Naruto stopped hugging Mito and said "You take care of her. I have something to do."

Mito bows and nods. Naruto looks at the redhead and says "Don't worry, I am an Uzumaki too." After saying that he disappeared from there.

Mito looks at the red-haired kid and extends her hand towards her for her to get hold of and stand up. The red hair hesitated at first but she then took her hand and stood up.

Mito smiled and said "Don't worry, I am an Uzumaki too. My name is Mito Uzuamki. What's your name?"

"I am Karin," she replied with a little bit of fear and worry in her eyes. She can feel through her mind's eyes that she is strong too.

Mito sighed and smiled as she said "Let's go, I will take you to a safe place. You don't need to suffer anymore."

Karen's eyes turned moist when she heard her. But she is still hesitating, not sure if she should follow her.

Seeing her hesitation, Mito pats her head gently and says "You don't have to worry about the village. You are free from now on."

'Free' Karin is obviously surprised. This is a word she never expected to hear in this lifetime. She always dreamed of being free from her pain and suffering.

She used to pray a lot but since her mother died she lost faith in God and herself.

Karin suddenly starts to cry as she throws herself in Mito's arms. She hugged her and cried louder, like a baby. Mito held the girl tightly in her arms and hugged her too. She sighed and shook her head.

The world of shinobi is also full of darkness. She just hopes that her lord will bring redemption and hope to this world.

She then disappeared from there with Karin and left the place quiet. She now has a mission to do given by her lord.

"Fuck! Who angered that monster?"

"Some brain dead must have done it."

"Let's go, we have to hurry and find a scroll as soon as possible and leave this hell. We will be dead if we encounter that monster."

The same conversation is now happening all over the forest. The battle for the scrolls suddenly intensified.

Everyone has only one thought and that is to acquire the scrolls and pass the exam. Or go to the tower and quit.

Those who want to play and kill for their amusement or mission also don't have any plans to play or do the mission anymore.

No one wants to die. Killing is fun but getting killed isn't.

"You can fight him in the third round. We have a mission."

Hinata and Ino were worried when they sensed the killing intent. They knew that it belonged to Naruto. Only sighed in relief when Naruto appeared before them.

"What happened, Naruto?" Hinata asks with worry as soon as he appears. Ino also looks at him questingly and waits for his answer.

Naruto shakes his head and says "It's nothing, let's continue." Naruto doesn't want to talk about that stuff with them.
