Raoh lay down, leaving Tsu to enjoy the second tasteless piece of bread.
'And here I thought that I could simply walk away, leave things to Aang, and enjoy life.' Now, that's a real problem.
'However, it seems he will never wake up.'
Raoh knew that he couldn't laze around. With his chains, he pushed himself to the side, took a push up position, and started working out.
Tsu gazed at him with a half-opened eye. "I know what you're thinking; It's useless to think of escaping. Even if you get strong physically, you can't break your chains. Besides, the fire will burn you, and the earth will crush you. That if you managed to break through that gate first."
He then pointed at the huge rock that locked the gate to the mines.
"Who said anything about escaping." Raoh smiled as he was done doing 70 push-ups, and he decided to take a small break. Turning his head, he said. "I'm just doing this so I don't lose my muscles."
"You're excited to work as a slave for them?" Tsu said.
Raoh smirked mockingly. "I need more food than you. Besides, with strong muscles, you'll feel the work easy."
"You are surely one strange man," Tsu said.
Raoh couldn't understand his feelings. He knew that the slaves are people who resisted the Fire Nation. That's why no one is really excited to work as a slave, since they have their honour.
"Yeah, go to sleep. You don't want to feel hungry first." Raoh started doing another set of push-ups, this time it felt easier since his body had recovered, and he managed to do 80 more. After another break, he reached 100 reps. His body surely grows up really fast.
Doing this for few more times, Raoh decided to preserve his energy. Lying down on the straw, he started thinking of what to do once he gets out.
If memory served him well, the Avatar should be resting in some place at the South Pole.
Taking out that guy is the key to having world peace.
But that seems to be so much work.
After thinking for some time, Raoh reached his decision.
He will find some rebellion and tell them of his place.
Thinking about the Last Air Bender, Raoh knew that it will take less time to defeat the fire lord than it happened in canon.
Why?
Because Katara in this time should be older than Aang, and thus, he won't fall in love with her, and thus, he won't stop his training of mastering the Avatar State.

Time-skip: One Month.
One month had already passed, and Raoh had already gotten used to his workout, which forced him to increase intensity every time.
"Three thousand!" he exhaled as he hit the rock with the pickax, breaking it in half.
The kid next to him with the cart stared with wide-open eyes. "The pickax is broken, again!"
"Get me another one," Raoh said before getting on his hands. Lifting his body with them, he pushed himself further to be lifted on his fingers, and he started doing push-ups.
The kid was left to stare with wide-open eyes.
"Work, or they may take you!" Raoh said.
The kid nodded and started doing his job while trying his best to ignore Raoh, the crazy man here.
Raoh's body was quite unique. He could recover from the training almost instantly, and thus, seeing the result in instant. Working out in a day for him was like more than a week for the others — if you count the break days. And since he was doing this for a month, he was more like into one year of training.
His strength increased, but since he hadn't been practising weights, he hadn't done so much. But his endurance and toughness dramatically increased.
After feeling his fingers getting sore, he stood up, and he recovered in instant. Staring at the rocks, he clenched his fists, and he started punching. His fists could no longer get damaged by them. But they surely broke the rocks now.
During this month, Raoh had few memories from his second life coming to him.
First of all, he knows Kung Fu, an advanced form above that.
Second, he was a Swords grandmaster.
And he knew the Six Powers, also known as Super Human Martial Arts — but he could only remember three for now. Iron Body, Shave, and Moonwalk.
Unfortunately, he couldn't do enough training to master them.
And lastly, besides his Healing Factor, he had a few crazy talents. He had physical talent and Spiritual talent that allows him to learn things way better than normal people by 1000%. Those memories hadn't been so clear, yet. And each time he wanted to access them, he would feel pain. The happy news is: that the stronger he gets, the less the pain gets. He is certain that once he reaches enough strength, he will remember his techniques clearly. Maybe he can remember using Armament Haki, which requires a strong body.
For now, he knows that he used to be an agent in Baroque Works in One Piece world, a very fast fighter who uses knives and fists. And he used to date a very hot girl. The last memory hurt him more than his head…
As he progressed his thoughts, thinking that it was time to leave this place tonight, Raoh was on his way to get lunch. Being treated like a subhuman, Raoh knew what was waiting for him. "You broke another pickax. We'll discount that. Eat this."
He only got half piece of bread, and he then walked in the line, to where they should be jailed to wait and work for another day.
"Hey, you can eat mine this time." Said Tsu, who was walking being him.
Raoh turned his head, "keep it for yourself, you'll need all of the energy you can have."
"Yeah, whatever." Tsu rolled his eyes. "I was just trying to sympathise with you. Guess you'll die before me."
"I know. It's a good day to die."
They got into the room where they sleep, and the guard did some dance, closing the door with a giant rock.
Raoh cracked his neck, went to the straw bed, picked up a pickax head, and held it with his hands. Looking at the chains between his legs, he lifted the pickax's head and hit on it. Now, his legs are free. Too bad he isn't in a proper position to break the other chains. He let a sigh, the look in his eyes changing to a cold one.
Squatting slightly on one leg, he clenched both of his fists. He moved them a few times, punching. He had the experience of a real Kung Fu fighter, with some advanced levels he can't use because of his weak body. Muttering to himself, he said. "Guess I can fight like this."
Tsu noticed Raoh's actions. He was about to raise his voice, but Raoh glared at him, which stopped him.
Tsu swallowed his saliva. The other people here were staring at him too.
"You are crazy! You know you are going to die!"
"Help yourself guys, and don't make a large noise." He walked to the gate which was blocked by a thick wall made of rock. It can only open with the help of an earth bender.
Raoh put two fingers on the rock, took a deep breath, clenched his fist, and punched from one inch. His fist was planted deeply in.
"You can't open it! -" Tsu said, "Come back before some guard hear!"
Raoh took his fist back, leaving a deep print in the rock.
*Creek*
From the fist print, cracks started spreading.
"I'll pretend to be asleep if I were you. If no guard comes back with my body, I advise you to take the keys of your freedom." Raoh lifted his leg and kicked. The gate fell, and he was one step away from the mines.
It was night, and it was so dark.
But for him, who has Observation Haki, there is no need for eyes.
He then walked in, cracking his fists. 'Training time is over.'
