I began writing because I simply couldn't find stories similar to what I wrote and for those that are written, I have already read them. Or they go on indefinite Hiatus and then I feel empty inside. What to expect? -Strong Mc to even more OP MC -MC is Cold and Cunning / If he does something out of good will, it is because it will benefit him. -MC is Non-Human -Side characters that each serve their purpose / and aren't just forgotten. -Slow paced build up and a few time skips but small jump skips. -Decent World building is a must -No Harem/ but some small romance -Kingdom building -System/ but won't focus too much on crunching numbers. It will be kept at reasonable numbers. -1 chapter a day keeps the reader at bay. -Each chapter is 1,300 to 1,700 words. Chapter 59: Golem Warfare part 2
As if they were one entity, all the golems charged together. The sound of their metal legs stomping the ground created a rumbling that could be felt from the wall which the Oros soldiers stood on. They also didn't just stand around to wait for the golems to arrive in front of them. They began launching volleys of arrows and spells of magic towards the metal beings.
The golems prepared for this, they raised several shields that were rectangle in design, creating a perfect shield wall that left no room for the arrows to penetrate through. After the first row of attacks failed too take down any, the golems proceeded to make haste towards the fortress wall.
As for the teams that pushed the siege engines, they also had several golems pushing them. Since it was golems pushing the siege engines and not humans they moved at a far faster pace than what the Oros defenders expected. They were already halfway to the walls before they knew it.
