Author's Reincarnation in a Fantasy Setting

What does it feel like to find yourself inside the novel of an author you hated? How will you survive in a world that's filled with cliché? Well, something similar happened here. Once there was an unpopular fantasy novel author. However, for certain reasons, he died a pathetic death. Later he found out that the world he reincarnated in was the same as the novel of an author he hated the most. The only person he never wanted to talk to again…he was reincarnated inside that very person’s novel. This is his story! The story of the man who was known by the name “Zero” in his second life. The story of how he survived without plot armor in a world filled with cliché situations, only in the favor of the MC of that novel. This is, the Author’s Reincarnation in a Fantasy Setting!! ---------------------------- The cover image is not mine and I can remove it if the original owner wants. A/N - The mc is the anti-hero type and the reasons for why he is like that and what happened in his past will be revealed as you move forward in the story. Gannett Town [1]

The wagon stopped all of a sudden and I felt a shock as if getting pulled forward, but that was just physics at work so it went normal pretty soon.

"We're here," the wagon driver announced as he got off the horses and began to unload the stuff those three adventurers were carrying.

"Hurry up, let's go," I said to Challes go was now again bounded in the chains. After we got inside the wagon this morning, I'd undone the ice on his legs coz if it stayed there for too long then his leg might have fallen off, that'll make him unable to move and I don't want that.

Since my whole purpose of bringing him with me will be ruined, if he can't even be the use of that then it is better to kill him. But he was still capable of fighting—maybe, so I'll be keeping him for now.

I hopped out of the carriage and dragged Challes with me, and if you're wondering why it's so quiet then it's because the three other people with me are still asleep.
