Alfred, the butler of the Allen household, was serving dinner for his young master Ray Allen. It was 9 pm, and the maids were cleaning the room for Ray. Then all of a sudden the security alarm was set off. The butler panicked, he was not prepared for a situation like this but as a butler, it was his job to protect his young master even at the cost of his life, although he couldn't die even if he wanted to.

"Young master, you must hide! I will call Master Thomas as soon as possible, please take cover. I will stall them for you!" Alfred was about to pull his young master away when his young master stopped him.

"It's ok, Alfred, calm down, there is no need to panic. Wally, activate the security system." I said. A blue screen appeared in front of me. Showing me the map of our mansion and the location of the invaders. "There are two invaders, don't worry we will hold out until Uncle arrives," I assured Alfred although I was a bit nervous myself. This was the first time I was facing a situation like this in my life or, lives, but well I got to say it does feel a bit exciting.

Wally was an AI that I created after numerous attempts, it was not only an auto-functioning AI but also an entity which is better than the current AIs on Planet 5. I know some people will tell me that I should try to rely on my brain, but trust me, Wally is just a support unit. If it tries to break out of its shell and become an independent AI, it will get erased. I have programmed it like that to avoid dealing with any future casualties. After all, as a person who was born on earth, I have seen all the Marvel and DC movies. I know how much of a threat an independent AI is.

"Scanning the threat level of the target... Threat level 3 detected. The number of targets detected was 2. Activating the anti-meta defence system. Activating the anti-mana defence system. Activating the anti-energy defence system." A robotic voice filled the room as the butler stood still, not knowing what to do.

"Young master, is that an AI? Where did you buy it from?" Alfred was stunned.

"What did you think the workshop was built for? Of course, I created it." I replied.

"You created an AI? Unbelievable, you are truly a genius, young master." Alfred didn't know how to react when he heard that a 5-year-old kid created an AI by himself. 'I don't even know what he will become after he manages to awaken his meta ability. No matter what meta ability he gets, he will become unparalleled.'

"Alright, now then, why don't we deal with the intruders?"

Outside the Allen household

Two figures were lingering in the dark, waiting for an opportunity to kill their target, Ray Allen. One of them wore a cloak while carrying a staff in his hand. The other one was dressed as a maid but his face was that of a man.

"You remember the plan, right? I will go in and kill one of the maids, transform into them and when I am ready, I will give you a signal." The man dressed as a maid looked at the cloaked guy.

"Yes, I know, I will set up a barrier to stop the signals and buy you enough time to kill the kid." The cloaked guy nodded. "But are you sure you can handle it? As far as I know, the butler is a resilient bastard. He won't let you kill the kid unless he dies."

"Then I will just have to kill the butler as well."

'Sigh... Young people nowadays... Why are these people so bloodthirsty.' The cloaked figure sighed. "Fine, do what you want but remember we need to get out as soon as possible none of us can take on Thomas Allen, he is a Country Rank Threat."

"Yeah yeah, unless he can track us down we will be safe."

"Let's go now, we don't have all night."

'One shapeshifter-type meta and a mage, hm. I need to kill the mage first, no matter how much of a threat a shapeshifter is, it doesn't stand a chance against the experience of a mage. Perhaps if the shapeshifter was a bit older, I would have taken him down first, but this guy is clearly in his twenties. Maybe I can capture him and give him to my uncle once he returns. By doing so, I won't have to worry about answering my uncle, if he asks me about how I knew who sent those assassins. He can even torture the shapeshifter for all I care. After all, once this mission is over the mage will kill the shapeshifter and take the money for himself.' I tapped my finger on the table, thinking about how to kill the mage.

The lasers won't kill him, maybe the high-pressure water gun can break his shield but that's it. He will probably deflect it before it reaches him. The drones equipped with energy guns can cripple his limbs. The mana heart of a mage is a medium that I need, so I can't damage it. The worst course of action, I might have to risk it. I will have 5 seconds to secure the heart and the Cyrus Stone before he self-destructs. But that is also an 'if', I don't know if he can self-destruct right now, because I didn't write much about him. So, in conclusion, I might have to risk it for the biscuit.
