Groundhog hour (8), Attributes

Attributes are the main part of a meta human's ability. Each meta is good at one or two specific things according to their respective abilities. For example, speedsters can be faster than other speedsters, turn back time, stop time for ten seconds, or regenerate instantly.

At first they use these abilities unconsciously but after reaching C rank they can figure out their specific attributes to activate it on will, after which they can breakthrough to reach B rank.

I wanted to figure out my Speed Force Attributes first because once I do that, I will reach B rank and each milisecond will turn into an hour in Flashtime.

To figure out my attributes, I needed to find out my talents when compared to other speedsters. First that comes to mind is my obviously my regeneration, in my last time loop I couldn't regenerate because my stamina ran out. However, now that I have my stamina back, I could run some tests and for that I needed some help.

"What the-" Sylvia exclaimed, astonished by what just happened. "Why did you just kidnap me all of a sudden?"

"Didn't have time to explain, look I need your help. I know you are angry at me-" I tried to explain but she cut me off before I could finish my words.

"Sure, what do you need?" Sylvia asked.

"I am caught in time loop," I answered.

"So, do you need my help to get out of it?" Sylvia asked.

"I know you must find it hard to... Wait you believe me?" I asked back, confused by her words.

"The fact that you don't talk nonsense, and the face you are making implies that you are in a hurry. Why would a speedster like you be in a hurry? That alone is enough for me to figure out that you are not lying," Sylvia explained.

I am actually glad she is on my side, Sylvia may not like to study much but that doesn't make her stupid, after all, she is the daughter of the extraterrestrial alliance leader. A person like her would make a terrific enemy, good thing I always keep a shard of kryptonite inside Wally.

"So, what do you need me to do?" Sylvia asked.

"I just need your help to figure out my attributes, just rip off my left hand and I will try to regenerate it," I replied.

"... You want me to rip off your arm? Ray even if it is a time loop... That is... That is insane... How could you torture yourself like that?" Sylvia asked, genuinely concerned about me.

"My guess is that my attribute has something to do with regeneration, now I could be wrong but it's alright to try. Even if I can't regenerate my arm, it's not like I will loose it. I am in a time loop remember?" I explained, assuring her that nothing will go wrong with it.

"Sorry in advance," Sylvia said, as she tore apart my left arm without a warning.

Honestly, it was better that way.

Argh...

It was painful alright, but compared to the pain I experienced last time, it was manageable. It was as if I had developed some kind of pain tolerance after going through that experience one time.

I barely held on to my voice and kept tapping into the speed force in that state. My hand was regenerating at a visible rate but it was nowhere near instant.

Should I try it inside the Sage Realm? It does speed up my healing process but I would be relying on something other than the Speed Force.

No, I need to use the Speed Force to speed up my regeneration.

The accelerated healing factor enhances the speed and efficiency of physical healing and metabolism to superhuman levels. This causes users to be able to be completely healed from non-lethal injuries as severe as broken bones, burns and even paralysis, in a matter of hours or days without any linger effects, therapy, or treatment, unless the injuries are immediately lethal. However, this healing factor has its limits as a speedster cannot regrow portions of the body that have been removed such as a limb unless they know about the entirety of their body and it's every detail.

Even, knowing such things won't help you unless you have a regeneration type attribute.

Everything I did right now was based on a gamble... So, I put back any unnecessary thoughts back in my mind and conjured a visible image of every cell, fibre, bones and such present in a hand and imagined placing them back to where they belong.

The process was incredibly painful, but I was somehow able to overcome pain and keep my mind intact for the process to go on.

Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours in Flashtime. In a normal human eye, I could be regenerating my arm in an instant but a speedster like me can tell... How long and painful it was to heal and arm.

Huh? Two attributes in one ability? As far as I know, only Samuel had two attributes from the Speed Force and he unlocked them with the help of his system... How the hell did I unlock my second attribute?

... I certainly didn't expect to have a dual attribute in all my abilities... This is worth the pain... But figuring them out would be a pain as well.

Enhancement... Huh, that certainly explains why I was so much faster than the average speedsters. I was unconsciously using this ability since I woke up from my nine months of coma. It just didn't have the opportunity to show its true colours until I used it willingly to enhance my healing factor.

"Are you alright?" Sylvia asked.

"Yep, as good as new," I answered, showing her my new arm.

"I wasn't talking about your arm, even if you are truly inside a time loop you shouldn't torture yourself like this. Think of it as an advice but what you are doing right now is not healthy. You should think of yourself, before hurling yourself in danger like that. What if you couldn't regenerate your arm? What if that time loop ended right now? What were you thinking?" Sylvia questioned. "I should have told you all this beforehand but..."

"It's alright, I get what you are trying to say but as I said, I am trapped in a time loop. If I couldn't regenerate my arm I could ask a priest from the temple of the Blood God to help me out. I have some connections there," I answered. "The time loop would probably be resetting in 5..."

"5 what? 5 minutes?" Sylvia asked.

"2 and 1-"
