Kayden Axius, your average jobless undergraduate. After months of constant grinding, he managed to enter the top 1000 rank of current VR game 'Creator'. Unknown to him, the game was designed to recruit new Creation Gods for a new accessible universe. Follow our clueless former human as he creates and manages his very own world. ......... ......... I'm not a very creative person, nor do I have any remarkable talent in writing. I'm just an average dude that loves creation novels but can't seem to find any so I decide to write mine. Updates are going to be slow as it takes time to visualise what i want the world I'm writing to be like, before having to actually write a passable work. ........... ............

Chapter One

[Fledging Creator Detected]

[Welcome to the ranks of Creators]

'What's going on,' I mumbled, trying to arrange my jumbled thoughts.

'Ah, yes, I met a goddess called Reva,' I thought, finally remembering what transpired. "Am I a god now?" I asked myself.

"Yes," Came the mechanical voice of the system.

'Nice. Why can't I see anything?' I asked the system.

"You currently do not possess a physical body, and you currently lack the ability to communicate with the world without one."

[Body Creation]

[Planetary Creation]

[Statistics]

[Please mentally select Body Creation]

I mentally selected body creation as the system instructed, and an ambiguous human model appeared in front of me. 'Huh, I can see now,' I mused but ignored it quickly as I got to creating my body.

Two hours later, and multiple retries, I had created what I considered the most aesthetically looking male. Just like my previous body, my skin colour was that of a light-skinned African male, retaining the same height of 6.4ft I had, A=and like everyone given the chance to design their new body, I gave myself an aesthetically pleasing muscular frame, a dark brown eye colour, silky short black hair, and a short beard to give me a rugged look.

'I'm done.'

[Acknowledged]

I stared at the body I'd designed for myself dissipate before being built from the ground up in a dazzling flash of light. After a few more seconds of dizzying flashing lights, my new body was built and I could feel a connection to it.

"Ah!! I can see now!" I exclaimed, as one second I was staring at my body, and the next second I was already inhabiting it.

Taking a deep breath with my brand new lungs, I then looked around the area I spawned into. I could feel a deep connection with the ground, the air, the trees, and even the ores that were hidden deep in the ground.

'So this is the divine realm?!' I mused. The area wasn't big, about 2 square kilometres in size, but I wasn't worried as it would naturally grow as I get stronger, or I can use creation points to increase the size, at a rate of 100cpts - 1 square kilometre.

"System, create a 15 bedroom villa as my residence," I instructed, projecting a picture of one I'd seen online in my previous life.

Immediately I gave my instruction, the villa I'd imagined appeared in a flash of bright light right in front of me.

I smiled as I stared at the villa in front of me, I knew my life was going to be more complicated from now on, but it was also going to be vastly better than it was in my previous life. I was a recent graduate stepping into the harsh reality that was unemployment so no matter how hard this life gets, it was already better than my last.

After I was done inspecting the heavenly realm and my new residence, I was ready to leave the realm and begin creating or redesigning my planet.

As a Creator, I instinctively knew how to exit the heavenly realm, so I opened a portal, stepping into the material world.

"Let's get to creating my very own world," I muttered excitedly.

From my position, I stared at the sun, and the 8 planets bound to it by gravity, I could also see multiple asteroids travelling through space, with a couple of asteroid belts scattered around.

I instinctively knew which of the planets were life conducive, but that didn't matter as I could make any planet conducive for living. I could also create a planet of my own, but I'd need to remove an existing planet first before creating one to replace it. Drastically different sizes didn't matter as divine energy ensured gravity, orbital path, and everything else be damned.

Humans were generally creatures of habit, so I immediately connected my divine energy to the third planet from the sun. The moment I felt a connection to the planet alongside the information about the planet filling my head, a system notification rang out.

[Re-design Planet]

[Accept Current Design]

I wasn't satisfied with the size and geography of the planet so I mentally clicked the 're-design' option.

After clicking the option, a new panel appeared in front of me with a projection of the planet appearing above it. The planet's size was currently the same as earth's, and coincidentally, it was the only planet capable of sustaining life.

'Is this a coincidence?' I wondered, but not enough to investigate.

"System make the planet 10 times its current size," I instructed as this was the max before I'd need to use creation points to increase its size.

[Acknowledged]

[Creation Points - 1000]

I watched stupefied as the planet started swelling in size, like a balloon that was being filled with air. By the time the planet was done expanding, I got to work designing the continents. An hour passed, and I gave up due to how complicated it was to design the planet's landmass, so I instructed the system to randomly place the continents on the planet's surface, and after a further hour of mentally clicking random, I was somewhat satisfied with what I got. 59% of the planet's surface was water-covered, followed by 41% land, and finally, the planet had 32% of its overall surface covered in ice. The landmass was further divided into 4 continents, with 3 of the continents joined together by a string of landmass.

After I was done with the creation of the planet, the landmass started reshaping itself, with the excess land disappearing, and finally the part of the planet designated as 'ice' froze over, giving the feeling of earth's artic.

After finalising the planet's design, it was finally time to implement what route my worlds would take, 'a Technology Route,' 'Magic Route,' 'Cultivation Route,' 'Game System Route,' etc.

After playing the game for many months, I already knew what I wanted as the basis or physics of my world, so I didn't need the system to give me options. I knew the basis of my world would limit the races inhabiting it to humanoid races that had similar musculature to humans, but I didn't care as I knew that was the best for my world's development. I could still have dragons, phoenixes and the sort, but they'd all have a humanoid form they could take on at a certain level.

"System design a custom world structure based on technology, magic, and cultivation," I instructed.

[Acknowledged]

Although this limited magic development until technological development is on par, it allows both to grow considerably once they're both at the same level. And with the cultivation structure, the inhabitants of the world would be able to increase their lifespan. Some might say this would cause the inhabitants to focus on increasing just their strength and lifespan, but it is necessary. In a world with a maximum age of 100, everyone would get stronger faster, but it also means the once in a generation genius you develop on your planet would reach his peak 20 years after reaching adulthood, and then the inevitable decline in another 20 years. With my envisioned setting, if a mortal on the planet dies young due to their low level, it would be better for the planet as the resources they'd use in developing would be used by someone else that would hopefully advance into higher realms.

So while it would take 200 years to develop a flying car from the moment the first automobile was developed for a purely technological race, it would take between 50 - 200 years for a magitech civilisation to do so as magic would be able to compensate for the lack of technological knowledge. But its greatest downside is both structures of society are forced to develop concurrently for magic-tech to excel.

After the system was done implementing the world structure, I remembered animes, manwhas from my past life, and I was tempted to add power systems from them. While magic gave the world inhabitants things like bloodlines, I wanted abilities like devil fruits, dojutsus', in it, but I held myself back for now.

'I can grant people I deem special powers from animes later on, it would be a reward or some shit like that,' I told myself, given the system go-ahead to re-write the world core.

Although I'd not be able to change the overall world's structure from its current settings, I'd always be able to add minor tweaks. While things like Sharingan would not randomly appear in the world, the various creatures populating the world would be able to mutate and gain various bloodline abilities, I could also just give someone a Sharingan, and his descendants would inherit it too. Or better yet, I could create a world based on Naruto, One-piece power systems when I'm powerful enough to experiment.

[Tri-brid World Structure Implemented]

[Creation Points - 775]

I expected this, as a single world structure cost 100 points, and 75 points when you try to merge multiple structures.

[Level 0 World Created]

Ah yes, I smiled seeing the last notification from the system. Just like how cultivation had levels, every world had one, and it was based on the overall strength of the world, or the average strength of the planets in a world and various other complicated factors, which then equates to the quality of the energy existing in the world, in a magical world at least.

[A/N:- A world is what a creator calls his habited planets.]

In a fantasy world, there exist 10 levels of energy, and the higher the mana level on the planet, the stronger the inhabitants are. If the average fireball does 1pt of damage in a level 0 world, in a level one world it would be 2pts, and then 4pts...

[Level 0 - 1dpt]

[Level 1 - 2dpts]

[Level 2 - 4dpts]

[Level 3 - 8dpts]

[Level 4 - 16dpts]

The difference between levels increased exponentially, delivering a whooping 1024pts in a level 10 world. This doesn't only apply to damage dealt and received, it also affects the mana everyone had. Of course, it isn't always this straightforward as they're various factors that can affect how damage is dealt or received and even mana levels, like bloodlines, items, etc.

When a world increases in level, the quality of everything inhabiting the planet increases, although this change isn't noticed by the sapient being inhabiting the planet, just the Creators. So if the average level 0 fireball deals 1dpt when used on someone with an 'equating defence' from the same planet, when the planet evolves to a level 10 planet, it would still deal just 1dpt to the same person, as his 'equating defence' still mitigates the same amount of damage, this change is only noticeable between various Creators worlds.

.....

With the world structure done, I returned to my divine realm, appearing directly on a couch in the living room of my villa.

"I want to begin population the planet," I informed the system.

[Understood]

[Basic World Biome - 10pts]

[Basic World Lifeforms - 30pts]

[Basic World Creatures - 20pts]

[Basic Magic World Biome - 50pts]

[Basic Magic World Lifeforms - 90pts]

[Basic Magic World Creatures - 60pts]

I instinctively knew what the options meant without the system explaining, the options without magic in it meant it was for the basic pack for a magic-less world, so no demon wolves, goblins, slimes.

Magic world Biomes meant what it said, a magic biome, the trees would absorb CO2, and impure mana, and then release oxygen as well as 'purified mana' back into the atmosphere, in a simplified term at least.

Magic world creatures meant, well, 'magic creatures', these are generally slimes, goblins, horned rabbits, kobolds, etc. Dragons, and phoenixes, aren't considered mere magic creatures as they generally cost creation points since they aren't part of the basic creature pack. They are sapient creatures from birth without the interference of a creator so they're sort of regarded as unique creatures.

On every fantasy world, once a magic creature develops sapience and gain their humanoid form, they are considered 'Humanids', so unless you're lucky, you'd need to add them to your world separately.

Magic world life-forms were considered a special option, as it is pretty much dropping the basic cell of life on the planet and letting nature run its course. So if I choose this option, it would take at least a million years to see the first visible sign of life on the planet. This made the option 'magic lifeform' the cheapest to execute. In my past life on Earth, scientists theorised earth had been able to harbour life at around 3 - 3.9 billion years ago, if you add mana to the equation, I'd still need to wait for around 1-2 billion years for a society roughly equal to what was on earth to develop, which would mean waiting for anywhere between 274 - 548 years in the divine realm. I was a shut-in in my past life but they won't be anything to describe that level of 'shut-in'.

"System, implement the Basic World set, and the Basic Magic World set on the planet," I instructed.

[Acknowledged]

[Creation Points - 515pts]

I cringed as I saw my remaining creation points but I quickly recovered as I knew it was necessary. The basic world set ensures they'd be regular creatures on the planet for non-magic users, as well as cheap food for everyone. In every fantasy world, everyone knows to increase your mana you'd need to eat magic beast meat, but they're generally expensive so the basic creatures would provide regular food, clothing, etc to everyone. While the lifeforms option would ensure both magical creatures, and non-magical creatures would always evolve to survive extinction, and whatever causes natural evolution to occur would be accelerated by quite a large margin, and it also ensures the world would naturally spawn its very own unique creatures, good or bad.

I let out a yawn, 'I'm exhausted,' I mused as I teleported to the master bedroom.

"System, set the planet time rate to maximum," I instructed, letting sleep take me.
