CHAPTER 42- DEVUNIAK

I turn my attention outside the window, watching the view outside. The nature itself gives a calmed sensation for my chaotic thinking. Napanatag ako dun inis na inis talaga ako kay Clarabelle.  Iba siya makalandi kay Luna Crest kulang nalang kainin na niya ng buong buo.

Natameme lang ako ng pahiran ni Luna Vanessa ang pawis ko. Kinuha ko naman iyon at pinahiran din ang kili kili ko. Nasobrahan ako sa kakaoverthink kaya siguro ganito ako mag pawis.

Luna crest was sitting on the opposite seat yet we're facing each other. His just staring at me and it's uncomfortable. His eyes are sharp and it's enough to kill me on spot.

"What?" I asked with a snort, but he just gave me a smile. His mood changes and it's creepy.

"Boss are you sure we can take her home?" Xylldor asked and his companion look at me, waiting for my respond. The rocking of wooden wheel of a dirty path shook me awake. The radiant sun, positioned directly overhead, casting a resplendent aureate hue upon the entire setting. The warm breeze blew, and I could feel my hair flutter in it. My head went blank for a moment but my ears are listening.

"And also how can you be so sure, if she has a contractor then how will we steal her from her master" another questions from them. And I gave them a sign to stop, a moment for me to think before answering them one by one

Well, in order to take her back. I must set an enchant to find the contract somewhere hidden on the palace of Devuniak in order to break that; is to bleed myself as an offer and also her agreement to broke the chained and come with me. If only she'll agree to leave her master. Tsaka nagkaharap sila ni Luna Quartz nung gabing iyon. She felt uneasy even she tried to pretend nonchalant yet her face speaks it all.

"By my own blood I will be able to help her, to released and broke her from that contract, yet in the end its her decision if she wanted to come"

"So this means a fifty fifty chance? Are you mad?" Luna Ziegler said straight into my face

"If we failed I can't stand leaving you on that old man.." I slap his leg to stop him. Luna crest is a bully "Tch, i thought you figure something out to release her"

"Buti na nga 50-50 kaysa hindi Diba? Tsaka I have my tactics. That palace is home for a woman who offer their loyalty to the king, many  of them are courtesans"

"If this never work, you'll be working on that guild" Luna Ziegler complain

"That wouldn't happen" Luna Crest interjected and grab my hand with his big arm. I was amused to see the differences between esthelian's hand compared to him "If she had something on her head, trust her she can achieve her goals, she's optimistic and her dedication to change the history, she don't want to waste it on petty matter, she had gone this far" he said dearly

I was stunned. He actually trust me. He, I thought his that guy who always stand in between, blocking me but then.. hearing those from him gave me butterfly on my stomach.

"That would explain how she even get herself a title on Ugana, effortlessly" said Emion with a sparkling eyes. Medyo natawa ako dun kase chamba lang nung na slide si Xylldor at tumama ang mukha niya sa kamay ko kaya siya na knockout.

"Meaning, Xylldor is going back to his old days" They tease him and Xylldor face turn red.

"I never said that, I'll take his title being the new boss of Ugana, he'll  regained it back, after I'm done helping those people before I go home"

"Nga pala we've been together for almost a week now, we simply didn't know where you live, your identity, motives, you just suddenly pop out of nowhere and became a boss." Tanong nila

"And also you just brought yourselves a rarest fairies,you didn't  owned then, they're free, you could just sell them in a bigger pric... Aray!" Napahinto si Emion ng batukan siya ni Luna Quartz

"Ano akala mo sakin isda na pwedeng Ibenta? Gulay? O mga bagay na pwede mong makita sa pamilihan ganun? Human should be the one to call the terrorist, the real greed criminals, you already banished our kind and still not contented, we're living peacefully and yet you hunters just mess around and sell us like a bunch of animals, did we do anything wrong? so we can suffer like this and feared you, what did we do to you to make you hate us?!"

"Maybe a sorry wouldn't help. I don't know... much about you, your kind. Because all we do is money, money, money and fairies like you don't have the right to speak.  Lalo na kung andito kayo sa lupa namin

Luna Vanessa shifted her gaze to Xylldor, sharp eyes, raging in fury and let out a deep breath "Rule? Did you people followed those rules that was declared long time ago? Hindi diba? because your arrogant being, you think your the one who was just blessed in these world and we treated unfairly. Pinagmumukha nyo pa samin na kami ang mang aagaw, ano ang inagaw namin? Ano? Did you even asked yourselves?"

"Remember we fairies didn't declare war but humans killed half of our kind because of a single misunderstanding. Half of Zethara is ours, yet you send us away from our own land, spreading rumors, gossips.."

Emion is about to speak but Aldanard stop him and left her continue. I was thankful enough to find these men to help me, they didn't argue with the lunarian, kung sa iba lang yun baka magpatayan pa sila. These men didn't knew who I am but still followed me all the way around.

"You Banished us, you stole our land and even destroy the forest, our garden fairies work non stop, day and night just to plant and give you food. We were exist to help you but....tao nga talaga kayo"

Aldanard lips are pursed and pull back Emion to his seat and hussed him. Sa unang tingin parang makakapagkatiwalaan ko si Aldanard, he has wisdoms on him, but he tried to hide it, not to me.

Luna Vanessa caught him, secretly staring at her "What?" She asked him and he just simply shook his head "We have a lot to talked about how we get into this mess and why were stuck with her"

Xylldor clears his throat and that got our attentions "You said she wants to change the history, how can a Moonsune do that? Without a power to raise a coup, if fairies tried not to set war and how you people raise you voice against millions?" That was a serious question from him.

"Tsaka maliit lang ang Moonsune, Wala kayong mapapala samin kung may gagawin kayo protesta" Sabi pa ni Emion.

Protesta daw..

"It's hard to explain it all at one. It's a long long story and I'm tired of talking but still. I don't have to keep secrets especially from you as my new companion. Pero meron parin sa loob ko na hindi muna ako pwedeng magtiwala. I know it's an insult but I need to be cautious not all people around me can trusted. But maybe I'm just afraid.."

"Afraid? Then how will you change the history?!" Xylldor face gave an expression of disappointment and complain more "You can just rushed your tiny little dream of changing history when you can't even control and deal with the situation"

"How dare you raise your voice, you don't know who you're talking to!" Luna Quartz was insulted but I gave her a signed to listen. Tsaka totoo naman ang mga sinasabi niya. Changing History is not just something I can rushed to change. Hindi rin natin mababago agad agad ang isip ng mga tao dahil may sari sarili tayong pag iisip at pananaw sa buhay.

Luna crest remain forbearance and yet I can hear his growled. The carriage wheel were creaking on the rocky road. The sound of birds, chirping on every trees. The people inside the carriage is waiting for my answers. Yet somehow I feel like I should explain them all. Maybe I can trust them. After all my enemies are North Andalia and even myself.

The lunarian is furious and I want to stop it, the pressure inside is already gave me a hint of warning.

"I think it's better to tell them the truth?" I asked luna Crest and he gave me a look of it's on you

I let out a sigh and sat property with a slight smile on my lips

"I princess Esthelian, who soon to ascend the throne of Estheria, preparing myself to be the new Queen of my people. But I was diagnosed with amnesia and it all happens very fast and there's this scenarios in my head to find the truth behind the war why men and fairies hated each other. My father king Dethen II told me to go to Andalia to help this kingdom from its dying economy, by an act of trade and to expand the nation as one. I was assisted in order, an assignment to become the future Queen, helping the nation to overthrow their kingdom, Their kingdom" turo ko sa mga Lunarian " But I never had the guts to make that loops again. I don't want to repeat the history. The bloody history, one by one I travelled to find someone who could help me change that history, a land where men and fairies live together without discrimination and slavery. Hunger for power and pride to rule.." I sighed while catching my breath para na Kase akong nag rarap "Yun lang ang basic na sagot dahil kung iniisa isa kopa iyon masyado pang mahaba

"Ah hey! Hey!" The Ugana men was stunned to speak, jaw drop. Their facial expressions turn bland like they seen a grim repear Infront of them.

"Oyy gising!"  Tinapik naman sila ni Luna Ziegler sa mga tuhod nila na kinabalik nila sa katinuan.

"Your her highness?" They look at each other with full of shock on their faces "The Esthelian?"

"Yup that's her, our future Queen, one that we can trust"

They startled and began to drop on the floor, sweating and bowing at me. "Hoy, hoy ano ba kayo, tumayo kayo wag na mag bow!!" pinigilan ko sila pero di ito tumigil sa kakabow sakin. "Gagi ano ba kayo, you don't need to bow"

"Your highness kill us for being arrogant. I never knew you were my.. I have my eyes on you from the start!" Xylldor let out a yelp voice and that made the two of his companion cackles and began to tease him.

"Now that's explains you have that Ethereal face! How stupid! How can't I didn't notice that!!" Emion mumbled "kaya Pala na love at first sight Ako sayo nung una"

"Ang kapal" dinig kong sabi ni Luna Quartz.

"But wait!" Xylldor paused and let his eyes wandered off somewhere "I heard that you died on your voyage to Andalia..." He freaked out and stick his back to the corner wall of the carriage "Your ghost?!"

"Didn't you feel that punch on your face?" Luna Ziegler "like seriously?

She's much alive tsaka pag multo siya dapat sa una palang tumagos na yung kamao niya sa mukha mo"

"Sit down all of you" Luna Vanessa bored tone made them flinched. Her deep voice was scary "Don't tell anyone that she survived. Siya na mismo ang nagsabi na itago siya sa mata ng madla upang magawa niya ang mission na walang sino man ang makakasagabal. Her highness should not tell her identity to you, but maybe she trust you and you Xylldor are asking too much and damn enough for raising you voice!!"

"I'm sorry!!" Para siyang bata. His cute ket sa laki ng katawan niya madisiplina siya, Luna Vanessa are indeed the mother of lunarian and now she became their mother.

"It's okay he has a point. If I was on his position ganon rin ang tatanungin at sasabihin ko. Thank you Xylldor. Hopefully I can trust you only if.."

"You have my trust your highness I never been so honored to meet you in person you don't know how much I admired you and.... hoy!" Napalingon naman siya sa mga kasama niya at pinagbabatok ang mga ito. They put their arms on their left chest.

"In her highness rule, we shall follow, a throne, a crown, a title of grace, she will be our voice or leader. May God bless our new Queen in her journey together with the people who swore to protect those voices as long as she reigns" three of them made an oath and that was heart warming to hear. How adorable!! Aww

"Your highness your face is red" I'm flattered. Tangna talaga.

"Dramatic" the lunarian fake their sob, sniffling and that made the three Ugana men blush in embarrassment.

"So what's the plan your highness" Aldanard was excited. I never feel so much power. Creating an ally is difficult but the heaven is with me and I know I will change the world. Wait for me Zethara. There's this wind. A strong wind  that will lift the dark clouds that lingers upon my heart. And will freed me from the depth of doubt of the path ahead.
