Prologue

When Ryan was 19, his father betrayed his mother for another woman. After the divorce, his mother took the house as the mortgage instead of the monthly incentives. She took the house because she wanted to preserve the precious moments she had with her husband and her only child, Ryan. That way, she could rejoice those moments in a bitter-sweet way.

To support the financial state of the family, Ryan's mother started to work as a waitress in a local restaurant.

Before the divorce incident, Ryan was a very active and easy to approach type. He excelled in almost everything, be it studied, be it sports, be it popularity among girls, You name it and he was surely the best among the masses.

But everything changed after that incident. The so-called friends of his started to avoid him and isolate him. Soon, different kinds of rumors about his mother became a thing in his college. That really frustrated him and pissed him off. Everything was a delusion, he thought. Friendship is bullshit he assumed and started to ignore everyone.

He lively-self started to disappear and his grades also started to degrade. From being the most famous type, he became the most ignored type.

On a normal looking day, Rayn was sitting by the window seat, staring outside, lost in his thoughts.

"Wanna hang out with us? You seemed pretty lonely... " Someone called him out from behind. Turning his head, Ryan saw a guy, standing behind him with a smiley face. He recognized him from one glance.

Davis Fletcher, the leader of the delinquent squad. This squad was infamous for all sorts of bad habits. For example drugs, drinking, brawling, flirting and so on, so forth. Even that being the case, call it desperation, Ryan nodded his head. Being left alone was the last thing anyone would desire...

And so the game begins...

Those students he used to despise the most became his best friends, the delinquents, and the thing he hated the most became his favorite playtime, which was bullying. From being a scholar, he transformed into a delinquent who did all sorts of bad things. His life which was once filled with books and sports was now filled with drugs and alcohol.

But his responsible side was still alive, as he started to work as a bartender.

Ryan was blessed with a heaven-defying look. His eyes were blue, and his hair was long and messy black. His cheeks and were chiseled like a finely-carved Michelangelo statue. His nose was perfectly symmetrical. His lips were slightly full: the kind that ends in a cute little smirk at the corners. He was a tall handsome young man.

That being said, a handsome young bartender attracted a lot of eyes, especially the girl's eyes. When he was approached by someone of the opposite sex, he felt awkward at first, but as time passed, he went with the flow and somehow became the playboy of that particular bar. Things like free drinks and casual dates became part of his new life.

This all happened during the course of 1 year.

His family's financial condition and their living standards went back to normal. Ryan's mother stopped working as a waitress because of Ryan's requests. Ryan's mother was also happy but the changes in Ryan's character was something which she never desired. So, there was that one feeling which never left her mind, the feeling of guilt, that her child's personality changed because of her.

The chaotic life of the mother and son duo went back to normal.

May 28th, 2016.

Everything was going well in Ryan's delinquent life until that one night when everything changed, the night before his 20th birthday. Everything took a reverse turn again and this time, what future holds for him is still unknown.
