Damien stared at the screen in front of him until his eyes blurred. One second, his sister was in view; the next, she was gone.
Growling low in frustration, he stopped himself from smashing his hands against the keyboard in front of him.
"I'm sorry, Enforcer," murmured the security guard beside him, his head bowed low, his eyes refusing to meet Damien's. "But this is all we have of the incident."
"It's fine," muttered Damien through clenched teeth. It wasn't the guard's fault that someone took his sister… and his mate. But it also didn't help his wolf, who was calling for blood either.
Rising to his feet, he strolled out of the security office and into the main lobby of the hospital.
How was it possible that women have been able to disappear so easily from right under their noses? Were people just not reporting it to the SPD, or was the SPD not passing the information on to Raphael?
