a place for me

The morning after I met Aphrodite was my last day of rest before registering at the guild. Gelos visited me in the morning and told me that he had some properties ready for me to visit.

"Ready to go," Gelos said with a professional look, he was dressed in a suit and tie while holding a clipboard and wearing glasses.

"yes let's get moving" I reply while trying not to be impressed by the blonde leprechaunish man in front of me

It was a bright day with a little bit of a breeze and honestly, I regret spending it with Gelos.

We arrived at one of the properties, it was around 20 acres with very little vegetation and difficult access to water sources.

"I do think it fits my vision that much there's not enough space and very lacking in functionality" I give my opinion on the land

"functionality?" Gelos seemed confused

"It's not easy to access the city pipeline and there are no rivers or wells near" I explain to him hoping to narrow down the search

"I'll take you to the next location"gelos replies, he is surprisingly professional

We visited four more properties until we got to a very lush field, about 34 acres not far from the city and besides the plants and wildlife, the area was pretty deserted.

"This is perfect" I announced to him

"Oh really, then let's go back to the office and sign the paperwork, I'll also refer a construction crew and architecture company to you once we get back," he said in a professional tone

"No need I got it covered," I said while imagining the perfect structure

"You should be all fine then le..."Gelos jaw dropped lower than his sense of humor

I began growing giant trees into boundaries to mark the layout of the mansion I will create. The roots of the plants around the land pushed rocks into multiple pathways and the trees started forming multiple floors and walls. Furniture grew from everywhere, but I'd rather buy mattresses and pillows than having to sleep on wood. The finished product resembles a giant four-story log cabin.

Having reverted back to normal gelos his odd grin was the only thing that wasn't back to normal. "I understand your situation but what are the neighbors going to say when they see that a gigantic mansion appeared from nowhere"

"I don't think it matters what they say because they'll take it as a normal thing eventually" I reply not really caring about anything but the things I'll need to make the house fit in a bit more

"Could you help me find some electricians and people to do plumbing, also Aphrodite visited me asking for a favor could you tell her to visit me to clear up some details," I tell Gelos while he was still in awe of my lack of fucks given

"I'll see what I can do..., wait did you say you met Aphrodite," he asked trying not to trip over himself

"yea can you tell her to meet me to clear some things up" I repeat the part he didn't hear

"Y-yea on it right now, can I call you boss from now on you know what I'll call you father, see you again soon bye" he left in a flash leaving me with his words that made me want to cut my ears off and burn them along with him
