It's too late to leave

The girl was continuously moving and whispering, as I went near her, I can hear what was she saying;

"HOW DARE YOU ABANDON ME, HOW DARE YOU THROW ME

HOW DARE YOU ABANDON ME, HOW DARE YOU THROW ME

I WILL KILL YOU, KILL YOU, KILL YOU ALLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!"

She continuously repeated it. I don't know when I made a sound and she stopped.

She, then slowly turned her head, She was about to face me when I felt a hand on my shoulder, it was Jess.

He was confusedly looking at me "What are you doing here"?

"J..Jess look," I said while pointing towards that girl while looking at Jess.

He confusedly looked in that direction and then looked at me.

"What"?? he asked.

As I looked back in that direction, there was no one. I was shocked to see that and I don't know when I lost my consciousness and fell down.

In the morning, when I woke up, I found myself in bed. It was Jess's room and everyone was there.

They were talking to each other. I got up from the bed as they saw me they all came near me and Joe asked, " Are you okay? What happened to you?"

"I...I don't know" I said and went towards the washroom.

I can still hear them saying

what can happen to her? Why is she reacting like this? Is she okay? Did she see someone?

I turned on the shower. The water fell off on my head I closed my eyes and started memorizing everything that happened last night.

As I took shower I wore my clothes and went outside. Everyone was waiting for me. As I get out, I sat on the bed and asked Jess why he asked me last night to bring the doll.

He looked at e in great confusion and said

"Lia what are you talking about, you must be dreaming that time."

"Jess stop lying, I was not dreaming, and you know very well that I am not lying" I angrily shouted.

"Lia trust me I'm not lying," Jess said.

"oh after a while you will say that Mia I wasn't the one who asked you to accompany me downstairs, right"? I shouted.

"Lia what are you saying, I think you should take a rest," he said

"Just answered my question Jess, Weren't you the one who asked me that he is scared and wanna drink water," I asked while relaxing.

"No Lia, I was sleeping the whole night I didn't wake up even at once" he simply said.

"Enough both of you," Joe irritatedly said.

"Are you guys insane?"

I angrily sat down in bed and started telling them what happened last night. As I was telling them, I can see their facial expression.

After a while when I finished.

"Look Lia trust me, I wasn't the one with whom you went downstairs nor the one who asked you to bring that creepy doll upward, you already know that I am quite frightened of that doll, why would I ask you to bring that upstairs?"

I was looking at him in disbelief. Everyone now was worried and scared enough to leave the house.

Adam stood up from the couch and said "let me check if the car is okay" and went.

I tried to get up from the bed but felt a sudden pain in my head so I sat back on the bed while keeping my hand on my head as it was severe pain.

"What happened Mia, you okay?" Joe said while sitting in front of me. He kept his hand on my forehead and his facial expression changed.

"Lia you have a high fever, gosh," he said while standing from the bed.

As soon as I heard his words I felt as if I am really very sick. Joe assisted me in getting on the bed. As I laid down he put the blanket on me.

Adam showed up and said "Guys a problem had knocked," he said with a worried face.

As soon as I heard his words felt a great pain in my head. Joe was sitting beside me, while Mia and Jess were sitting on the couch.
