9. Three years ago

"We're putting him in this world? We're wiping his memory? Isn't that a bit cruel?" Second said watching Zero's unconscious body on the floor.

"If he's awake he'll only disagree with us," Index said creating a smaller demo for the world he wanted to create on earth, this was possible by using his power in reverse so instead of erasing memories he could create them. "We'll keep him long enough so Middle can create a clone that can use his ability, thats the only way we can move forward."

And so the plan was carried out, Index's fabricated world was created and every human within the planet was put into a cold sleep, the world was transplanted into each of their heads meaning they lived in a world where wars could be easily solved by removing the cause with one bullet. Time slowed down for those in the cold sleep meaning they did not age as fast as they normally would, years became decades and decades became centuries. That also meant that the life they created while inside Index's fabricated world was just a branch of a memory.

Everything went swimmingly in the world, wars caused by government leaders were shut down before they could even become a cause for concern. This wasn't just applied to Earth it was the same on all four remaining planets, Middle cloned the hand to watch over the other planets while they worked on Earth. Since it was the ground zero of all war breakouts.

That was until Zero got his memories back, before that Zero had lived a normal life. He took on the name John Victor Billoway and he was even in 'Kahoots' with a lady named Kayla Whitaker, he got a job as a sewer inspector and even though that posed troublesome for them, now named 'Hand of Order' who couldn't navigate underground they still allowed it to happen, they would not risk him remembering something because they tried to change his place of work.

Four was watching the event as it unfolded but he wasn't sure what to make of it because Zero didn't say a word, one random night Zero jerked up from bed. Sweating like he was being chased, he just sat on his bed for what seemed like an hour before he looked at his ceiling, staring directly into the eyes of Four who watched him from afar.

It's been two years since that day, every week or so Zero would regain his memories due to some remnant he kept from the last time and even though Index made it known that he would just continue to kill everyone that got involved with him, he kept on going. Until the day he got as close as the Alphasted building where the Vixon star was kept.

"Five keep an eye on the woman for me, if you think she knows about the truth. Tell me, Middle come with me, the shopkeeper knows." Index put his gun into his suit pocket and walked away, with Middle following right behind him.
