Chapter 18
Silence.
Staring.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed by the silence and staring, Parker picks up her hand and gives the group of giant, seen-it-all armed warriors a little wave.
“Hi.” Parker’s hand drops.
“Female.” One of the warriors finally says something.
“Earthling.” Another recognizes her being from Earth.
Landrix, the ship doctor, moves forwards, pulling out his sensor to detect injury.
Brax holds out his hand in a ‘stop’ motion.
“We are unharmed. This is Parker, PW001, sniper. Earthling female and my mate.” Brax places his hands on Parker’s shoulders and draws her back into his chest, encircling her with his arms.
