Updates every 10:00PM UTC+7 Centuries ago, a mysterious meteor descended upon the Earth. Instead of wiping all life forms on the planet, it terraformed the Earth, transforming both living and non-living things alike. This event was called the Great Meteor Fall. Monsters and Beasts appeared and proliferated on the land, causing a shift to the ordinary lifestyle people once knew. Humans also underwent changes thanks to the meteor. Some were granted supernatural powers, and some were granted strength. With these changes, mankind concluded that life will never be the same. The rise of adventurers and guilds was only a few things brought about by the change. Those who wielded great power became prominent figures. But this was just the beginning. The ground zero of the meteor, where it descended, became the territory of a powerful entity known as the Dark One. No one knew where he came from, but rumors said he was inside the meteor when it landed. The energy levels in ground zero were so potent that an average human wouldn't be able to survive it. As such, only high-ranking adventurers could enter it with great difficulty and survive. However, no one came close to the fortress of the dark One, built on top of the meteor itself. As years passed, the monsters and beasts became more powerful, and the adventurers struggled to keep up. But there was no real threat. The Dark One didn't seem to care for Earth's inhabitants, or maybe he was in deep slumber, awaiting his awakening before he invaded Earth. It was foretold, however, that the Dark One was close to awakening, and the powerful monsters and beasts were a clear sign of it. Backed into a corner, the countries were forced to rely on forbidden technology to combat the upcoming invasion. Messing with the space-time continuum, mankind was able to summon influential and powerful people from the past. They became known as Heroes of Relics. These heroes partied up and became Earth's last line of defense against the oncoming invasion. Albrecht Stein was part of the Heroes of Relics. However, he was kicked out of the party since they no longer needed a porter. His only particular skill was spatial storage space, and he was just an additional headcount, so they kicked him out. Just like the other Heroes, he was transported to the future with the sole purpose of defeating the Dark One. But now that his purpose was gone, he decided to live a quiet life in the countryside. That is until the final countdown was issued, and the world's destruction drew near.
B-Rank Dungeon, Ylsafa's Lair,
The towering gate that led to the next dungeon intimidated Albrecht a little bit. This was the first time he'd ever faced a B-Rank Dungeon alone, and even though he had reassurance from the System, the premise still made him anxious.
Technically he wasn't alone, though, since Sylvia was coming with him.
Sylvia's yellow eyes dilated as the glow from the gate reflected on it. She was shaking, but she firmly held onto Albrecht's hand as she walked forward.
"You're leading the charge... do you even know what's inside this dungeon?" Albrecht asked, scratching his head. He made it believable that he wasn't nervous at all, and Sylvia fell for it.
Now that Albrecht mentioned it, Sylvia stopped short in her tracks and turned back. "Do you know what's inside the dungeon?" Sylvia asked with a hint of suspiciousness in her voice. "If so, then why didn't you tell everyone else—"
Before Sylvia could finish her question, she stopped short. She finally realized why Albrecht didn't bother to tell the rest of the group about it.
He wanted to monopolize all the rewards from the dungeon itself. That's why he didn't feel the need to encourage them to come with him.
"I see... if that's the case... then I believe you, Albrecht," Sylvia said with his usual tone after cutting herself short.
"Ah... sure!" In essence, Albrecht had no idea why Sylvia said all that. Unbeknownst to him, Sylvia believed that he could conquer the dungeon all by himself.
He was unsure of that sentiment, but his actions fooled Sylvia and she decided to hold onto that sentiment anyway.
"I'm ready," Sylvia announced.
"Then let's go,"
Fwooosh~!
When Albrecht stepped forward and leaned one hand on the gate, it slowly opened. The sound of creaking concrete resounded in the Goblin Dungeon as the gate opened,
Albrecht and Sylvia felt an intense breeze blowing when the gate opened.
"Well then, let's go," Albrecht called out without hesitation.
Based on the information he received from the System, the next dungeon was just a boss room. It contained a lion-like creature with the power of lightning and flames and it had an area-of-effect attack that is unavoidable. It could fill the entire boss room after all.
The only way to dodge that attack was to interrupt the boss. However, there were just two of them so doing that is nigh impossible.
"Fortunately, I have those two items with me," Albrecht muttered to himself. He still remembered when Anastasia Whitelock allowed him to get three items in their treasury.
Initially, he planned to use these two items on the Sixth and Eighth Outerlayer but he didn't get the chance to. Now it's going to prove useful as they tried to conquer the B-Rank Dungeon.
"Oh, and also I received rewards from clearing the Emergency Quest, right?"Albrecht asked himself as he opened up his inventory to see if it was still there (refer to chapter 46).
The Emergency Quest Rewards were cleanly labeled on his inventory, and he promptly opened them. He hoped that he'd get something useful.
[You've opened the Emergency Quest Rewards,]
[Received Skill Scrolls (A) x2]
[Received Monitor from the Past]
[Received Escape Rope x1]
[Received Ghostblade Daggers x2]
"Ah, new skills..." Albrecht let out. He was a tad bit disappointed that he was given skill scrolls when he had enough skills in his arsenal. On the other hand, he received new weapons but he didn't intend to use them.
He's got the Goblin King's Pincer Lance and all, and he thought that that would be enough to deal with the dungeon boss.
"It would be payback... but just in case it doesn't work..." Albrecht took one look inside his spatial storage space and confirmed if the item he was looking for was still there. "Yep... preparations complete."
At this point, the gate to the next dungeon was already fully open. From afar, they could see the lion-like dungeon boss with the name Ylsafa on top of its head. (Albrecht was the only one who could see it.)
Ylsafa looked like a normal white lion, but it had a yellow mane. The tip of its tail burned with flame, and electricity coursed through its body.
"It looks strong... but it's weak," Albrecht muttered to himself when he saw its level.
[Level 31]
Sylvia was surprised when Albrecht muttered something ridiculous. Even without the Clairvoyance skill, Sylvia could sense that the beast in front of her was strong.
Its Zecian Aura alone rivaled five Gold-Rank Adventurers. And yet, Albrecht had the audacity to call it weak.
"Just in case, take this, Sylvia," Albrecht said as he handed her an item.
[Item: Escape Rope (F-Rank)— it's an item that could grant an escape from dungeon. It can be used in any Outerlayers. Despite its rank, it is a very rare item.]
"What's this?" Sylvia asked as he received an old rope imbued with mysterious Zecian Aura.
"That's an escape rope. If you think we're not going to survive, use it on yourself." Albrecht muttered. He didn't bother telling her that he only had one Escape Rope in his inventory.
"Oh, all right," Thinking nothing of it, Sylvia received the Escape Rope and put it in her limited storage space.
"Let's go,"
Since the gate to Ylsafa's Lair was fully open, Albrecht and Sylvia hesitantly stepped forward. In an instant, the Goblin King's Pincer Lance appeared in Albrecht's hands.
[Goblin King's Pincer Lance equipped]
[Skill 'Saddim's Touch' activated]
"Stay right behind me," Albrecht reminded Sylvia as he charged forward.

Guild of Lomenschwaal,
After receiving the news that Albrecht went into a dungeon that turned out to be a Double Dungeon, he immediately informed Rhydderch Wintermoon, the guild master, about it.
"What did you say?!" Rhydderch exclaimed upon hearing the news. Without further ado, he got out of his office in search of someone.
To his relief, Cosmos Chronostasia was right there, leaning her chin on her hand out of boredom.
"Oh, you're still here, Cosmos, come with me, we're going to the First Outerlayer," Rhydderch said out of nowhere, piquing Cosmos's curiosity.
Nice~ it's time for Albrecht to show the world~
nothing much hahhaha~
Thank you all so much for reading, I hope you have a great day except for that one person. I'm kidding~ but I will feed you to the dungeon boss if you don't give me your power stones >///<
