Chapter 7 - Serpent Attack - Part 4
As the first serpent's lifeless body fell into the ocean, the crew cheered, their morale lifted by my swift action. I could feel the surge of adrenaline coursing through my veins, and for a moment, I forgot about my exhaustion.
The sea air felt electrifying as I gazed at the remaining three serpents, now agitated by the loss of their companion.
The second serpent lunged toward the ship, and I rushed to meet it. With a single leap, I soared through the air, sword raised high, and brought it down with a powerful strike.
The blade cut through the serpent's thick scales, causing it to howl in pain and thrash wildly. My fiery water-infused attacks continued, targeting its vulnerable spots and weakening its movements.
At the same time, Spirit Reathers crew members continued their relentless barrage of arrows and spirit-enhanced projectiles at the third serpent, which was locked in combat with the ship.
