Chapter 11 -Venturing Fourth – Part 7
With Emilia sporting a new white-dyed hair that cascaded over her shoulders, she was also wearing some fresh clothes, as the previous set was torn to shreds and looked awful.
She donned a green top, blackened jeans, and standard black shoes. I asked Tik where he got these clothes that fit her so well.
"Tik tik tik," he replied.
"From a local house. No big deal."
I was kind of worried about who he stole from, but it was a fleeting thought as I got fully dressed, and we began cautiously heading down the mountainside to find the original trail.
As we descended, the battlefield came into view, burnt black at the center before gradually succumbing to the snow on the mountaintops. A body still lay dead from the attack.
Stating aloud, "Arion really did not care about his men. He left them for dead. If I do meet him again, I believe I will have to go all out."
Emilia's interest was piqued. "Would you win?"
