"Hey. You won't run away, right?"

"No. Dad, I won't. Why are you asking me that question?"

"Because… my father used to be never angry with me. No matter what I do, but he died when I was younger, in my teenage days… Perhaps this was my motivation to become what I am now."

"A man who beats criminals?"

"Yes, a man who beats criminals."

"But don't we have officers in our country?"

"They exist. But younger me didn't really care… so I started that business… and it is getting really big that it might be international"

Said Ray to the 10-year-old Ramsey.

"Look, Ramsey, me and your father love you so much. And we don't hate whatever you do. But, you should try doing what we want you to do; we're older and we have more experiences in life… more than you. You understand me, Ramsey?"

"Yeah, mom. I do."

"That's the good boy, now let's go study some fun subjects, right Ramsey?"

Said Ray…

The relationship between Adriana, Ray, and Ramsey was a good one. They all cared for each other. Ray and Adriana always were at Ramsey's side even if he does a mistake. Because that's what parents do. They're not so strict on him, except his mother can get a little bit strict on him at some points.

But, Ray isn't strict at all.

Ramsey loved both of his parents; he felt they're his real friends.

Of course, sometimes they lose their nerves and ground Ramsey, but they explain the whole situation to him.

That's why he doesn't want to lose his parents, and he thinks the same about his parents. They don't want to lose him.

Ray and Adriana.

"So, what is the reason you called us? And please be quick, someone might be calling me. You do know me after all."

"Yes, Mister Ray. Mrs. Adriana. Your son got into a fight with a kid."

Adriana was in shock, and Ray was nervous…

"What happened?!"

Asked Adriana.

"The kid was bullying a girl. That's when Ramsey, decided that it should stop."

Said the headmaster

"What's Wrong with that? He's just like me! He doesn't like such stuff to happen in front of him."

"But you don't use a pencil to hurt people!"

Ray was kinda impressed. He could barely hide the expressions on his face. So he tried faking a shocked expression.

And Adriana was mad at Ramsey for doing such a thing.

"Is the kid hurt?"

Asked Adriana

"Luckily, the Physics Teacher showed up just in time and took the pencil away from Ramsey."

"For how long have that boy been bullying that girl?"

Ray asked.

"Ah… according to the girl and Ramsey himself… He's been bullying her for two months…"

"And you're mad at my son! He helped a girl and you're mad at him! How the hell does this make sense to you?!"

Said Ray in an angry manner.

"Ah… Ray, please calm down!"

"No, seriously. You couldn't stop this kid for two months, and when someone came to stop him, you do this! What the hell is wrong with you people! The mistake is not my Son's, it is your mistake you didn't control that kid well enough!"

"Mister Ray, please calm down!"

"*Sigh* How is Ramsey doing in class?"

"Well, Ramsey is… doing very well actually. He's a very polite boy, but I don't know why he got himself involved."

"I think it runs in the family."

"So, what are you going to do with Ramsey?"

The headmaster Asked Ray and Adriana

"I'll deal with him."

Said Adriana

"And if he ever does something similar again, I shall deal with him myself."

Said Ray in a serious manner

Later That day

"Ramsey, tell me what made you go for it and almost cause injuries to that bully. Do you like that girl?"

Adriana asked Ramsey.

"No, mom. I just didn't like seeing that girl getting bullied for two months. At first, I thought he was kidding with her… but then he started being way too mean."

"And why today, of all days?"

Ray Asked.

"He… insulted her family."

"Ah… I see"

Said Adriana.

"And, I didn't really like this. And she was crying. I let myself go like a berserker. If it wasn't for the physics teacher, I might've killed that boy."

"Look, Ramsey. It is non-of your business. Unless you love her"

Said Adriana.

"But, Adriana, remember the first time you called me?"

"Yes, Ray. But Ramsey could've killed that boy!"

"Yes, that's the thing I don't want Ramsey to repeat in the future."

"I won't, dad. Trust me."

"That's the good Ramsey"

Ray and Adriana weren't so strict…

When Ramsey was 15…

"Hey, Ramsey!"

"Oh, hi Sarah!"

"How are you today?"

Sarah asked.

Caressing his shoulder.

"A-Am, doing good. Please stop."

"But why? I love you, Ramsey!"

"I consider you… a sister, please."

"And I don't consider you as a brother!"

"(Inner Ramsey) god I shouldn't have protected her 2 years ago. Now she's a pain."

"You look quite pale though, have you been eating regularly?"

"Yeah, Sarah, I'm fine."

"But why are you pale?"

"It is just because I feel really pissed."

His phone started ringing.

"Someone's calling, can you please leave me alone for ten minutes, Sarah?"

"Ah… okay, I guess."

He got to the school's Restroom and the person calling was Ray.

"Dad, you saved me!"

"Yeah, you're welcome. But I'm not calling to save anyone, I'm calling to ask you something."

"Which is?"

"Are you in a relationship with a girl?"

"Well… I'm planning to be honest."

"Ah, seems cool. Who?"

"That girl, she's called Sarah, I mean. The girl I protected two years ago."

"Yeah, you're taking her?"

"Amm, yes."

"Well, who were you talking to before I dialed you up?"

"…Sarah."

"And I saved you from her."

"Yes…"

"Funny, alright. Tell her that I want to meet up with her today, your mother, and I wanna see her soon."

"Alright Dad, I shall tell her."

"You're complicated… you are too complicated kid."

"I know, thanks dad, see you soon!"

Ray Hung up.

"I sometimes don't understand this kid."

Said Ray.

"Me neither, he's our little weirdo!"

"I know."

Adriana and Ray were… okay no need to go into detail about what they did next we already know what they're intending to do… make love

Later that day.

"Hey, Sarah!"

"Wassup, Ramsey?"

"My parents wanna meet you, they'd think it would be cool to get to know you!"

"Oh, that's nice!"

"So, are you coming home with me? Or when do you want to meet them?"

"Well, maybe at 3 P.M?"

"Sure, I'll check if they're free or not at 3 P.M"

"But what if they're not?"

"Then we can probably rearrange it."

"Okay!"

They both walked every day together, He walks with her to the Bus Stop Station, and he runs to his house. Why? Cuz he's a healthy boi.

So Yeah he told her all that while they were walking to the Bus stop.

"Alright, That's where I'm stopping Ramsey. See you, Ramsey!"

"Yeah, see you, Sarah!"

Ramsey walked home. Instead of running. Thinking to himself…

"(Inner Ramsey) Why am I treating her like that? She loves me… and I love her, not gonna lie. It started because of a goddamn bully… but… I should change the way I treat her. She's a good company and she only good from me."
