Chapter 1 all hope lost but I'm still alive

"There catching up"

Currently at a parking lot next to a what use to be a 5 start hotel 3 individuals 1 female and 2 males. were running from a dozen corpses known as Zombies.

"let's go this way guys" said shin

he is almost out of breath but that does not stop him from running while holding the womans hand.

Her name is Jessica. they have been happily together for 3 years. But shin has plans to propose at her there 24th birthday since they both share the same birthday. There is nothing shin would not do for Jessica.

The other guy name is jason. he has been Shin's best friend since childhood. They are pretty close so close that if not for looks people might mistake them for brothers.

Hearing shin words they both followed him down the street he was pointing at. but being out of breathe their speed was slowing down by the second.

Roar

The roar of the zombie became louder the closer they got to their pray.

Jessica shook after hearing this roar but to cool her down a hand gripped her hand warmly.

This hand did not belong to shin but jason. Who was running right behind her.

This caused jessica to look at jason, who also looked at her with an exhaust but meaningful expression.

Shin was to busy running and thinking of their survival didn't notice.

"huh" Shin who felt something on his shoulders looked back.

Not long Shin felt hands on each of his shoulders which caused him to look back thinking zombies caught up to them.

seeing what was behind him mad him scared and happy because not only were zombies the zombies getting closer but the two people he care about the most had their hand on his shoulder showing support.

However this feeling would not last for long as he was pulled back and thrown in the ways of the zombies.

While his two most loved person ran off with even looking back. to make matters worse they were holding hands.

"why Jason, Jessica" said shin with pain in his expression.

He couldn't understand why would they do that.

I loved you guys most in this world I always protect you guys.

Jessica did 3 years mean nothing to you.

Jason did our 18 years of friendship mean nothing to you.

"TELL ME WHY"

Shin scream as he was being bitten by the zombies the pain was unreal.

"j..ju..just ..pleas ..tell.. me why" shin said his las word as his vision faded as the pain of being eaten alive was to much to handle.

where am I?

Am I dead?

questions flooded Shin's mind as he got up.

"wait wasn't I just eaten alive by zombies after the jason and Jessica betrayed me?" this caused shin to get angry as the memories of their betrayal flooded his mind.

"good since I survived I will kill both of you no matter what" shin anger blinded him to the fact that he should not me alive right now, even if he was he should be in a lot of Pain. but because of his anger for the ones he loved the most he did not think of those questions.

"Ahhh damn" Suddenly to shin suprise a severe pain hit his stomach.

'Am I really this hungry that it hurts I should find food fast' thought shin as he looked around to see the store he was running to earlier.

One had to know the only reason him, jason and jessica left was to find food since they ran out of food a day before.

after some seconds he started walking to the store holding his belly.

"Wait what the heck" shin could not control his emotions because asoon as he reach the broken glass window of the store he was able to see part of his reflection.

He had white hair, red eyes if you added rotting skin, one can say he looked like a zombie.

Forgetting about his hunger shin look at himself with a very suprised expression.

'wait how did I survive getting eaten by zombie don't tell me I'm a zombie but that can't be why am I still conscious and I have no wounds or bit Mark's from the zombies did it heal that fast what is going on' Shin didn't understand why if he really was a zombie why wasn't he attacking people mindlessly and why isn't his flesh rotting but healing non of it made sense.

'If I really am a zombie does that mean I have to eat humans, no I can't i have to find another ways to live.' shin thought as he walked into the store.

he wants to survive until he get his revenge on Jessica and jason but not by eating humans.

Not wasting time he walked in the store. What Shin say was that most of the food was gone.

"hmm" Suddenly Shin smelled a very good smell scent. It reminded him of fast food.

Not wasting no time he rush to the source of the smell. When he reach the place the smell came from he was disappointed to see that it was corpse of a zombie with its head crushed in.

It seemed that people mostly clean the store out and when they were in the process of doing that they were attacked by this zombie.

'what's going on did becoming a zombie mess up my sense of smell'. Shin thought as he turned his head away from the zombies body as a bloody sight like this is new to him.

"Ohh finally" When Shin turned his head he spotted a bad of chips on one of the shelves.

Not controlling himself he rushed to the shelf and took the pack of chips up. After that he open the pack up and eat the chips.

But asoon as he swallowed the chips he vomited the that out.

"What's going on" Shin said as he try eating more chips from the bag but his body still rejected it.

"No, then I'm really a zombie" Shin said as he watch the chips in his hand but not long the hunger pain attacked his stomach again.

"arghh" shin drop the pack of chips and held his stomach. This cause the rest of the chips that was in the pack to scatter on the ground.

'Damn am I really going to die' Shin thought this as the pain felt more intense.

Shin kept clenching his stomach as he looked at the Zombie body on the ground.

An Idea came to him as he look at the body on the ground.
