Antoniette's brother goes missing.

Antoniette arrived in her mother's cottage and immediately rushed inside the house where she found her old mother with her aunt wailing on the floor in despair. She ran to meet her and then hugged her tightly with tears brimming in her own eyes. "Mother, I just got your letter a few minutes ago so I came here as soon as I could. Is it really true that Henry missing?"

"I don't know what to say." Antoniette's mother choked with tears as she leaned on her sister, the Head Maid for support and explained to her what really happened. "I sent him in the morning to buy some meat from the butcher down the street but he refused to come back home. I had to go out to look for him myself since he was taking a long time to return and then I saw him playing ball with some kids from the orphanage so I scolded him harshly for not going to the errand I sent him. I ordered him to go back home and then I went to buy the meat myself but when I returned....he was nowhere to be seen!"
