Rebuke

Let me invoke some thoughts,

Let me spam a little,

Let me break a leg,

Maybe break some hearts;

I know it ain't pretty ; but who said it ever was,

Settle these nerves and get me moving;

Working and grinding ; God knows i've been trying,

Breath by breath ; taking it all in,

Step by step ; I'm losing my footing,

' By the skin of my teeth ' as they say; is how I've been making it;

But all these wars and battles; is there really a world domination ?

Like stray bullets I've caught these feelings....

My soul screaming your name like a Pentecost church;

Who would've thought; you'd make my heart surge,

Like thunder and rain ; you take away my breath,

Like a dream you came into my life; ..... if only I was a dream catcher;

Peter and Andrew; they fished for men...

God knows... only if I was smarter back then.
