#21 New Year

Time passed and soon, the new year was just around the corner. I stood at my balcony and gazed at the dark sky. The clock was ticking, counting down the last minute before midnight struck. Mia said I would be her first new year call, so I guess the same goes for me too.

Knock, knock!

I went to answer the door and saw Andrea. She had come to spend the last moment of the year with me while drinking tea.

"Please enjoy this tea I specially brought for you," Andrea said as she placed a cup of tea on the balcony rail.

I took a sip and could instantly tell that it wasn't tea from our home. "You bought this somewhere, am I right?" I exposed her intentionally and her knees fell to the ground.

"H-How did you know that?"

"Stop with your over-dramatic reaction and drink it already."
