Chapter 27 Gentle Fist art

Arata nodded and bowed his head as he introduce himself, " My name is Arata Senju, son of Riki Senju and Isamu Uzumaki. I came here today because I want to train under you for a period of time."

Hiashi, Hinata's father, frowned as he said, " Riki Senju... so he is still alive. I know about your father. What do you mean when you say train under me?"

Arata said in a clear and confident voice, " Gentle fist, I want to learn it."

Hiashi immediately shook his head and said, " It's impossible for it to be a use to you. Only my clan who possess the Byakugan can learn it."

Arata replied, " What if I have another method?"

Hiashi shook his head again and said, " Even if you do, what benefit can it bring to me. I have heard of your strength Arata. You played a significant role when helping Kakashi with the battle on the A rank mission and also helped a lot by reducing the numbers from the invasion and rescuing several civilians. Furthermore, the gentle fist combat style solely belongs to the Hyuga clan it will be difficult for me to gain permission from the elders of the family to also accept a person who is not of the Hyuga clan to learn the technique."

Arata nodded his head and said, " Yes, at my age already, I already have the potential of fighting against high level ninjas. Furthermore, I held back too. He immediately recognized the eye and stood up in astonishment. He yelled out, " Impossible. How could you possess those eyes?!"

Arata shook his head and said, " I don't know, it suddenly came to me one day. Do you believe in me now?"

Hiashi quickly calmed down as he noticed his out of control behavior and took a deep breath and stayed silent for a while. Since he was Hinata's friend, Hinata was in the room the whole time and also saw Arata's eyes. She got surprised to see her father actions and was curious about Arata's eyes. It looked weird to her yet held limitless power.

After a long period of silence and contemplation he finally nodded his head and said, " Fine I will teach you the gentle fist art. I will also inform the high elders of this and you can rest assure that we will keep your secret. However, you will train with Hinata as your sparring partner. Do you understand?"

Arata nodded his head as he replied, " I understand."

Hiashi looked at Hinata and said, " you will spar with Arata from now on and train with him."

Hinata nodded her head timidly.

Hiashi then took another deep breath and said, " If you don't have anything else to say you may leave."

Arata nodded his head and bowed respectively to Hiashi and thanked him and walked out with Hinata. When they were walking, Arata looked at Hinata and saw that it seemed like she wanted to say something to him but was struggling on whether or not to say it.

Arata smiled at her and said, " Hinata, do you have something to ask me?"

Hinata blushed when she noticed that she couldn't hide her curiosity from Arata and nodded her head she said, " Arata... your eyes. Why did my father react in that way? Are they also special like the Byakugan and Sharingan?"

Arata nodded as he said, " Yes. From what I know, it is the strongest of the eye kekkai genkai. Legends say that whoever possess this eye, has the potential to either become the "God of Creation" or a "Destroyer". It's called the rinnegan." He then showed Hinata his rinnegan as he stared straight into her eyes with a serious expression.

When Hinata saw his eyes, she became slightly loss in it and silently said, " It's beautiful."

Hearing her words, Arata reverted his eyes back to normal, smiled and said, " No, you are beautiful."

Hinata blushed even harder and looked down as she started to squirm with nervousness and didn't know what to say. Seeing her innocent reaction, Arata smiled and laughed as he said, " I'll see you tomorrow then Hinata." After saying that he left and ran home while waving goodbye at her.

Arata ran home in high spirits. Not only did he get the chance to learn the gentle fist art, he also got to spend time with Hinata. He can't stop what the heart wants so he might as well shoot his shot. Since it seems like missions will stop for awhile, he will have time to train as much as he wants. Once he gains confident in using the gentle fist is when he will leave the leaf village and go out and explore the ninja world while looking for clues of the Uzumaki clan. Arata quickly arrived home and went to sleep excited for the next few days.

The next day, early in the morning, Arata got dressed and ran towards the Hyuga family's house. Arriving at the destination, he saw Hiashi and Hinata standing outside waiting for him.

Hiashi looked at him and nodded his head and said, " Follow me."

Arata nodded his head and took him and Hinata to the backyard of the house where there was an open field. Hiashi waited for the two to get comfortable and looked at Arata saying, " The Gentle Fist is a form of hand-to-hand combat used by members of the Hyūga clan. It inflicts internal damage through attacking the body's Chakra Pathway System, subsequently injuring organs which are closely intertwined with the area of the network which has been struck. To do this, the user surgically injects a certain amount of their own chakra into the opponent's chakra pathway system, causing damage to surrounding organs due to their proximity to the chakra circulatory system. Even the slightest tap can cause severe internal damage, hence the name "gentle" fist. With this technique, it fully uses the sight powers that our byakugan gives us. "

He then stood up and demonstrated the basic moves as he continued, " the combat style we develop follows a series of circular movements which transitions into a smoother combat style that enhances our hand to hand fighting. Until you learn how to release chakra into the nodes of your body, you will learn and follow the movements that allows you to hit the chakra nodes so that once you mastered the release of your chakra through your chakra nodes then you can sharpen the chakra similar to that of a needle and deal internal damage correctly."

Arata nodded as head as he digested the information. He got up and started to follow Hiashi's movements. After showing Arata all the basic moves, he told Hinata to train with him and correct any mistakes. This happened for the next few days. Although the process was a little boring and strict, he enjoyed his time with Hinata.

About a weak later, he finally managed to successfully learn how to properly release the chakra from the nodes of his hands and burst it forwards. Using this type of chakra control was requires an extremely high level of it as it focuses on minimization and precision. His body also requires flexibility but that was easy for Arata to adapt to. After training one day, Hiashi was satisfied with Arata's training as he was beginning to pick up the moves rather quickly.

Hiashi then told the two to start sparring but slowly so that Arata can get used to hitting the chakra nodes. Of course, this was just using nothing but physical attacks because doing the actual thing can result in serious injuries on both times.

During their time together, Arata and Hinata grew closer and became more and more comfortable with one another. They talked about many things in their personal life and their own goals and dreams.

During these last few weeks, Arata heard about Kakashi's recent injured state and what had occurred with Sasuke and his brother Itachi but he didn't pay any mind because that was Sasuke's own path and problems that he had to deal with. He also noticed the hatred and frustration for power as time went on. He wanted to spend some time with Naruto too but he was out of town with Jiraiya so he didn't get the chance.

Nearing the end of his third month of training, he and Hinata had been getting stronger and which put a smile on Hiashi seeing that Hinata was showing progress in her strength and the bond that was forming between Arata and Hinata. During this time, not only did Arata train in close combat, he also trained in his jutsu and chakra nature transformation. He was most proficient in lightning, wind, and fire and could perform their seals rather quickly.

It was the first day of the fourth month that a the fifth hokage was introduced which brought the village some peace and relief and Kakashi and Sasuke was fully healed from the injury sustained by Itachi. After Kakashi was healed, Arata wanted to speak to him alone.

Being in the room, Arata told Kakashi, " I... I am planning on leaving the leaf village and travel around the world. Before that, I want to have a serious match with you."

Kakashi gave a big sigh as he heard Arata. Kakashi had been keeping tabs with Arata and knew that he had been training every day for a while, hearing his goal from the start of their first day together, he knew that this would come sooner or later.

Kakashi looked at Arata's serious expression and saw that he was serious. He knew that he couldn't change his mind and knew that his team would lose a major player. " Meet me at the training grounds two days from now. We can have our match there."

Arata nodded his head and then left the room and began to think of ways to tell the people he was close to that he was going to leave and possibly for a long time.
