Chapter 6: Yang city

When Kareem and Veronica appeared they caught the attention of many people. To the people around they seem like a celestial couple. The women was so beautiful she looked like a goddess while the man was other worldly handsome.

Kareem noticed the stare's especially the one's directed at Veronica but he already expected this to happen. He just started walking up to the line with Veronica following closely behind.

The guy at the end of the line felt awkward to have such good looking people behind him but thankfully after on hour of waiting he went through the gate by paying one silver coin.

When it was Kareem's and Veronica's turn the gaurd held his hand out stopping them saying.

"Two silver coins for the of both you"

Kareem said "I don't have any silver coins can I pay with spirit stones?"

The guard was suppressed when he heard this. He then said "You can enter for one low tier spirit stone but you will not receive any change."

Kareem then said that's fine while taking out two high tier spirit stone's from his spirit ring. He handed them over to the guard while saying "Keep the change as a tip" The gaurd quickly hide the high tier spirit stone's away while clasping his fist saying thank you sir. With this amount he can live the rest of his life in luxury so he was very grateful.

"I have a question what's the name of this city and what's the currency here?" Hearing such a question the guard was supprised he though the most not be from around here you can see that from there clothes. He quickly replied saying "The name of this city is Yang city it's the second largest city in the Fire Nation. The currency here is Copper coins, Silver coins which is 100 copper coins, Gold coins which is 100 silver coins, and Plantium coins which is 100 gold coins."

"Okay then what's the currency for spirit stone's?"

The gaurd quickly replied saying "100 Plantium coins is equal to one low grade spirit stone, 1000 Plantium coins is equal to one middle grade spirit stone, and 10,000 Plantium coins is equal to one high grade spirit."

Kareem then asked the guard for directions inn which the gaurd told him straight ahead. He thanked the guard for the information then headed into the town straight for the inn. While walking the attracted the attention of many people part because of there unique clothing and the other part because of how attractive they are.

Kareem looked around at the clothing everyone was wearing most people we're wearing long cultivation looking robes while a few people could be seen wearing silver and gold armor.

They then arrived infront of a big wooden building that had a sign saying "Boars Inn". They both walked into the inn and walked up the counter with a lady infront. Kareem could see many people staring at them again but he spotted two guy's in the corner who we're looking at Veronica with lustful eye's.

Kareem then askes the lady infront of him how much it was to stay at the inn. She didn't respond and was just staring at him while blushing.

"Hello can you hear me?" He said while waving his hand infront of her but not to close because that's rude. She finally snapped out of it then said "I'm sorry oh and it's 5 copper coins to stay the night."

"I don't have any copper coins can I pay with spirit stones?"

" I'm sorry sir but I wouldn't have any change"

" That's fine" He then took out one high tier spirit stone from his ring then handed it over to her. "

Sir this is to much"

"It's fine just tell me how long I can stay and for food too"

"Sir you can stay for 10 years if you'd like and you still would have enough to stay for 10 more all while covering food and bath expenses"

"Then that's good keep the change as a tip miss?"

"It's Lila Ling sir"

"Okay then Lila can I get some food and which room is mine?"

Lila then said room 20 while handing him a key with 20 on it. She then said sit and where and she will bring food soon.

Kareem smiled and then walked over to a table on the right he pulled the chair back for Veronica letting her sit then sat down himself. He noticed those two guy's still looking at Veronica with lustful eye's but he ignored them. The two guy's got up and walked over to them they stopped and started talking to Veronica.

"Hey beauty how about you ditch this loser and come have some fun with us" The other guy then said "Yeah the young master will love you."

Veronica ignored them like a pro. They saw this and got angry and started shouting attacting the attention of everyone in the inn.

Some people looked at Veronica with pity in there eye's because this is a regular thing for them. Those two worked for the Young master of the city Long Lin as the son of the city lord he abused his power to kidnap and rape women using his father's name as for protection. That's why many people deared not to touch them also because their we're rumors of the city lord having a powerful backing in Capital.

The two guy's we're about to touch Veronica and before they knew what happened they we're sent flying crashing into the wall's of the inn.
