An Eternity With You

In a trembling voice, she asked, "Where are you? Where are you watching me from?" "Relax sweetheart. I am not peeking at you through a window if that's what you're thinking. Are you doing something a lady shouldn't be doing? Care to humor me?" Aurora blushed, understanding what he was insinuating. She didn't like having the wolf in her mind. "I am not doing anything indecent but it is indecent for you to ask that. Are you not a proper man?" "I guess I am an improper man." ..... Growing up Aurora heard a beast would one day hunt her down and try to kill her. But Aurora believed it was just a story told to scare her when she misbehaved until she started to have dreams of a creature chasing after her. “I will come to save you,” the creature promised her in the dreams. Aurora was confused by these words because she believed she needed to be saved from the beast, so why was the beast promising to save her? Soon enough Aurora will discover the life she knew all along had many secrets and it wasn’t the beast who she needed to be scared of. The cover was done by IG r.voh.k

Moon marking (2)

It wasn't hard to miss the crescent black shape mark on her shoulder now that she was undressing. The mark wasn't there yesterday or any other day. The werewolf hadn't touched her except for when it tried to catch her and failed. Was this a marking to show she was one of them? Did the moon have a connection to the wolf?

Now that she thought about it, the man changed his appearance when the moon rose to the sky in her dream. There must be a connection to wolves, the moon, and the mark on her skin.

"I need to find out more about werewolves quickly. I can't wait till night time," she whispered, scared to touch the marking but she would have to wear a dress to hide it from others. "Father is home and might leave shortly. Samuel and Regina must be at their classes, and Rachel must be at the tea party I heard her talking about. All I need is an hour. I only need to get past Minnie."

It was risky to try to leave right now while Minnie was the only one here but Aurora was anxious to know what would happen to her. Wasn't it logical that anyone else would be tearing the world upside down to find out what will happen to them?

"But if I make a mistake and Minnie catches me, I really won't have another good time to leave. She'll ground me to my room," Aurora sighed pushing the idea of leaving right now out the window. Hopefully, nothing else weird will happen today to cause her to freak out around anyone.

On the outside, she appeared cool as a cucumber but her legs felt like the jelly fruit at the festival the more things she realized were occurring because of her dream. Why her? It might be selfish to ask but why couldn't the werewolf have chosen anyone else? The town had many people and out of those many, it had to pick her. If anyone else were to find out a werewolf was real and after her then they would try to kick her out of the town and report her to the king.

Aurora's head started to ache suddenly, making her lean over holding both sides of her head in pain. She groaned hearing loud chants in her head. Loud enough like there were people in the bathroom with her.

"She is not one of us!"

"Look at her hair!"

"She's a witch I tell you! Burn her!"

The sad part about the things she was experiencing was they all felt real like Aurora experienced it all before. Instead of leaning over, Aurora sat on the floor with tears filling her eyes. The headache faded away but the sound of someone yelling to burn her sent chills down her body.

"I am not a witch," she muttered softly to no one. But she knew with her rare white hair and blue eyes, many people would try to label her as something she wasn't all because it wasn't normal. She noticed the way new workers act surprised after they saw her appearance. Aurora did not need a wolf added to her worries.

Aurora yanked on her hair trying to pull it out of her scalp. She wanted a different hair color to be like everyone else.

"Why are you trying to harm yourself?"

Aurora's heart skipped a beat hearing the voice in her head again. In a panic, she looked around the bathroom to see if the wolf was in here with her but it was still empty except for her. How did he know what she was doing?"

In a trembling voice, she asked, "Where are you? Where are you watching me from?"

"Relax sweetheart. I am not peeking at you through a window if that's what you're thinking. Are you doing something a lady shouldn't be doing? Care to humor me?"

Aurora blushed, understanding what he was insinuating. She didn't like having the wolf in her mind. "I am not doing anything indecent but it is indecent for you to ask that. Are you not a proper man?"

"I guess I am an improper man."

"Have you no shame to actually say that?" Aurora questioned, still looking around the room. How was it possible to hear someone in your mind? All of her tutors would lose their minds trying to fathom or explain this.

"You asked me a question and I answered it. Would you prefer it if I lied?"

"No," she muttered. He still didn't answer the question of how he knew she was hurting. "How did you know what I was doing?"

"We are connected more than you think. I can feel when you are in pain."

Aurora was certain it might have something to do with the mark on her shoulder. A book would tell her about what little everyone knew but if she stayed calm and questioned the wolf, she would learn more than anyone else ever did. "If you are not peeking through a window, where are you right now? Perhaps, the place in my dreams?"

"It's early in the morning and you're at home. Wouldn't you also expect me to be in the comfort of my own home sweetheart? For future references, I'm more of a night than a morning person. Nice to have this conversation with you after you finally answer me."

"Answered you? When did I answer you?" Aurora trailed off thinking of what he meant. It didn't click at first but then she remembered instances where she felt there was someone calling her name. "That was you? It started off as a soft whisper and then got louder and louder."

"You finally answered me last night and woke up near my home. It wasn't technically a dream, you were actually here."

"Well, why did you take me there? What do you want from me?" Questioned Aurora. These were the big two questions she wanted answers to.

"I didn't bring you here sweetheart. You came on your own. Imagine my surprise when I felt your presence here. Were you missing me?"
