Chapter 2: The S** Worker

School resumed on Monday and everyone was talking about the party

student one "did you attend the party it was so much fun "student two "I know squeaky with his mad grand entry"

Student three "that bitch he was with is a hottie than Kaya

Student four " I even heard Asher found someone banging on his Dad's bed"

Student five" ewww! That's gross "

That day I tried very much to avoid crossing paths with Asher because he would kill me. I walked up to the cafeteria after my first class. Neither Liam nor Harry were there. I said to myself they are probably screwing each other in the science room or having some weed in the old toilets .I walked straight to the science room and began shouting their names.

" Liam , Harry mother f****** I know you are in there." Immediately Cassey came in and began" squeaky" I walked towards her as she sat on the teachers table and continued talking" I know your little secret how much are you willing to do how much are you willing to pay me to keep your dirty secret safe from the whole world."

Her words did shock me so I decided to ask what she meant. she replied "don't play dump sweetheart I know you are aware of what am talking about"

I shaked my head in disagreement.she continued" your cocoa girl" I asked her whether she was talking about Esma . She asked me to cut the entire crap and said " am talking of the girl you were with yesterday.I tried to tell her ,her name was Esma she Insisted that her name was Coco.She had alot of information about her and it shocked me she went from " she's a sex worker ,who has slept with many men and women in our small town including her" I asked to lower voice because of anyone heard ,,I was in for it.Immediately a glass fell and broke. We looked at the direction the sound came from, then back to each other before she began shouting asking whether there was someone else in the room . but to our surprise there was no answer. so we walked to the place where the voice came from ,It's a room in the science room where fragile equipment and explosive chemicals are kept which on opening it was locked.She looked me in the eye and stretched her hand saying "20 dollars per week to keep your secrets safe .I objected" bitch you nuts where am I to get that amount of money from"

she replied "I don't give a f*** just get the money tomorrow or else the whole school will know ."The only I would try to raise was 15 dollars and she agreed with it. I headed to the abandoned toilets Harry was by himself . I asked him where Liam was . He said " since you take literature classes together can you explain to me where he is ." I was like" yes you're right but he didn't attend the literature class." He gave me those eyes as if he was trynna ask ' man you sure because I came in with him this morning '

I took the honors of replying a question I was never asked " I know , I've been in the cafeteria and science room but no ,today you were not in the mood to bone "

He looked at me and it's like at the same time he was trying to think really hard " you know if he skips class he's with me or you or no one else " I agreed with him then he finished"...or he didn't come to school,and today I came in with him, where do you think he at?" I shrugged

After some weed we walked home together .

The next day in school Cassey came up to my locker

" my money a******"

"Keep it down Jesus Christ." As I closed my locker and we walked away with her as I handed her the money" Thank you" and she asked whether Liam was still a thing with Harry. That was kinda shocking coz she's into ladies so I decided to ask "(laughing) yeeees they are,I thought you were into ladies ,,amongst them who makes you wet."

"Nigga don't be an asshole , I was just asking anyways"

At lunch she came and sat with us, I was with Harry only .I don't know either where Liam since the previous day.

Harry looked at her and blurted out"This is ...."

" Weird " she interruptedK

Harry" veery weird coz you've ..."

"Never sat with you guys" she interrupted again

Harry " Yes ,and stop finishing my sentences."

Cassey " I've stopped but Incase you wanted to know I'll be sitting with you now onwards ."

'whooa!' that was a shocker for me ,she only sits with her friends so I asked about them and she said " There's end in Friends."

After a few moments of weird silence of staring at each other, Harry broke the silence" bitch I fucking love your Mascara and shades ." She smiles and says " I buy them at the city mall ."

Harry " I shop there too but I've never seen them ,which brand ?"

I sat there listening to their girly conversation for five minutes , having no idea what was going on . It's like I was invisible .I took out my phone and began to like some posts then boom Liam " Since when does she sit with us ? Or have you just replaced me ?"

Harry" Since when do miss classes without us ."

Liam" Don't be ridiculous,I was in the library."

(Ok! That was funny, he has never been to the library )

I said " get a better lie next time, dude do you have any idea where the library is situated at ?"

"Not funny" he said , "wasn't trying to be,"I replied .

" Next time don't call me a liar ," he said

Cassey said " Dude that's what you are."

He turns to her and says" bitch I wasn't even talking to you."

Harry asked what she meant, when she began narrating Liam was like are you going to listen to her ? We paid no attention to him so he sat to listen. She was such a snitch bitch , she told my Friends about Esma ,I mean Coco and I had paid her not to and now my friends were just making fun of me.Harry was there laughing then said " Be grateful Asher and his girlfriend are not in today ,but as from tomorrow, come to school with some Halloween mask."

But that's not the shocking and am sure you wondering what that has got to do with Liam being a liar. The previous day when a glass had broken in the science room it was no rat or some mistake.She never left immediately,she hid behind the cupboard when some guys came out ,they were banging . Harry asked who were the motherfuckers banging on their space.She said " It was Jacks, ...''

Harry" No way he hates Gays ."

(Clearly I was in agreement with him, all this while ,Liam had said nothing)

She went on" they had an argument , Jacks wanted to tell Asher what he had heard but the other guy was not for the idea.So he threatened to expose Jack .But he told him that the love he had for him won't allow him to do that"

" Awww! That's so cute ,I bet Liam will do the same for me , Right Darling?"

He nodded his head then Harry said " But am Still mad at you." Casey said" Dude Still yo lying."

Liam shouted"Shut the fuck up ."

She turned to him angrily and " Or else what ?? Huh!!

(I guess you know by now that all attention was on our table )

I asked them to keep it low I hate attention.

She said " Harry , the guy Jacks was with is your stupid fucking boyfriend"

( Ouch!! Did Liam really cheat on my, no on our guy?)

" What!" In unison with Harry .

All my life I never saw him cry ,he was always happy and making jokes.

( I know he's heartbroken but can we jump to the part where he jokes ,this is weird)

With low and humble voice he asked" is it true, whatever she has said ?"

Liam replied" it's not like that ,I can try to explain ." Harry walked away and we followed him with Cassey.He was left there alone
