The game begins

A few days later Rain sat at a cafe sipping tea and making notes. She smiled to herself.

She loved being able to order tea. It was her comfort drink. A hot cup of tea helped her unwind.

Her editor had wanted her to take the guest spot at the university as a way to promote her more.

The truth was she loved talking about the subject. Society was a bit prudish when it came to sex.

Her phone dinged; it was her friend. Alexis messaged her announcing Steve Perry from Journey had a large penis and tucked it to the left. Rain giggled and messaged her back exchanging some Journey related music puns for a few moments.

Returning to her notes and tea she became lost in her world.

A few moments later her phone dinged again. This time it was Sherlock: MISS DAVIS IF POSSIBLE PLEASE COME TO 221B BAKER STREET AS SOON AS CONVENIENT.

Rain replied back quickly: ON MY WAY.

Rain stood to leave gathering her things; she felt a man bump into her.

He mumbled a, "Pardon me."

Instinctively checking for her phone and wallet she paid her bill hoping the summons ment Sherlock and John had proved the journal real.

Rain knocked on the door which was answered by John, "Rain, hello." His informal greeting tickled her.

Blushing Rain nearly stuttered, "Hello Mr. Watson."

He crossed his arms and leaned in the door frame and tsked, "Actually it's doctor," he smiled and motioned her in, "but you can call me John."

As Rain stepped in she tripped. Luckily though John caught her. "Oh sorry John." She said in a quiet voice as he held her a second or two longer than necessary.

"John I think you can let her go now." Sherlock called down from the second floor landing.

John turned pink, "Sherlock you make it sound like I was lewdly groping her. She tripped. I was merely righting her." He protested as he finished righting Rain.

Rain saw Sherlock standing in the door way to the parlor.

A very naughty thought popped in her mind. Chiding herself she spoke, "Mr. Holmes-"

He cut her off, "You may call me Sherlock Miss Davis. He turned walking away.

Unintentionally Rain called out, "You can call me Rain."

Sherlock turned slowly with a wicked grin, "So I shall Rain."

Rain felt her cheeks turn red; oh she was going to have to be careful with him.
