A much needed Divorce
Venn handed over a copy to Angel and started reading the other one.
It was a divorce agreement, Venn said " So Miss Jones or I could say Mrs Lawrence, you want to get divorce from your husband on the basis of Domestic violence".
" Yes, I want to but that's not the only reason he tried to kill me because he wanted to own my property, I want him to pay for what he has done to me " said Angel.
" Well Miss jones let me make this clear, all the charges you put on your husband you have to prove them, and since you left the city and changed identity and let your family believe that you are dead, you are the one in wrong here so until you don't have a solid proof you can't make that basis of the divorce"
said Venn.
When Angel heard that she became worried because all this time she was hiding because she wanted to live, she didn't have anyone to rely on but situation is different now. She had Neil and she wanted the people who wronged her to get punished. But she didn't have any proof.
When Neil saw her complex expression he held her hand and calmed her. Then he explained the whole situation to the lawyer.
At first lawyer was shocked Because he didn't expected the matter to be this complicated and secondly when he heard that Angel is Neil's girlfriend he was taken a back, but it wasn't a rumor, he heard this from Neil itself.
Venn heard the whole matter patiently and after some thinking he said " I suggest you should first send them divorce notice and fix a meeting with them, So that they will discover that you are alive. After that you have to return Lake city and acquire your inheritance since the property was already on your name, they can't claim anything."
Angel wanted to interrupt but Venn signalled her to stay calm and then he added " First you are still married to another man so if Mr. Richardson tried to use his resources it would be suspicious and your image could be tainted, they can say that you wanted to marry your boyfriend that is why you are accusing your husband, and It's not good for Mr Richardson too. So before the divorce you should not accuse him for murder attempt. And since Your husband is already in relationship with someone else, he also wanted to end this marriage. And during that time period we will investigate about the accident, and will try to find evidence that it was your husband's conspiracy."
Angel was much relieved now. But she was still not satisfied but Neil told her to wait and take a step at a time.
" I will inform you after finishing the paperwork for divorce notice and arranging the meeting with Mr. Lawrence" said Venn.
After that he took his leave.
Jack also left after sometime.
So now Neil and Angel were there, Angel was tired and after changing she went to bed, Neil also accompanied her.
Angel tried to sleep but couldn't, she turned and looked at Neil, he was sleeping calmly like a baby, it had been a long time she was sleeping with someone, Marcelo and Angel didn't get along and most of the time he stayed with his parents, she left alone in their house. Their relationship was for name they didn't have any physical relationship. It was because Angel never felt that he loved her so on their wedding night when Marcelo came to her she refused to have sex with him, even though Marcelo was angry Angel denied she said she wanted time.
But with Neil she felt different, she felt that she knows him for a long time even though they knew eachother only one and a half months, she is already in love with him and wanted to be with him. She didn't want to wait, she had to return hospital tomorrow. Angel put her hand on her chest her heart was beating very fast, she wanted to restrain herself but couldn't. She called " Neil, wake up".
Neil didn't wake up so Angel slightly shaked his hand. He woke up and saw Angel was looking at him lovingly, he asked " what happened, you can't sleep"
Angel nodded. Neil smiled and said " Don't worry, I won't send you back to the hospital, and you can play with fountain as much as you like".
Angel smiled and said " how did you know I don't want to go back to hospital".
" Well I am Neil Richardson, being in hospital and being with me, choice is quite simple". Neil replied.
" I love you so much" said Angel. Neil didn't reply and locked her lips with his.
He kissed her agressively, until both of them became breathless, he sat on bed and was about to leave but Angel hugged him from behind.
" Don't go, I want to be with you" said Angel.
" I want to be with you too, but it is not the right time" said Neil.
" But I want to make most of it, Noone except for my grandparents treated me this well, please stay I am not scared of you" said Angel she was still hugging him tightly.
Neil turned around and took her in to his embrace, he knew they couldn't have sex not because Angel was married but because of her medical condition, he remembered what Doctors said Angel was still emotionally unstable he can not pressure her with something like that but Angel was looking at him lovingly he can't possibly refuse her.
It was hard for him but he can't risk her health " Angel, you are not completely recovered, try to understand, I love you too but we have to wait untill you recovered completely"
" Okey, but you can't leave me stay here with me" said Angel.
