"My lady." the prince called. Melissa who was about to put a piece of meat inside her mouth suddenly halted.

She wanted to ignore him, but everything that was happening wasn't his fault, and ignoring him would be rude, is just she was sad, if he only knew what she was going through.

"Yes." she answered putting the meat inside her mouth.

"Do you mind telling me things you like and dislike, cause I really want to know you." He asked and Melissa suddenly choked on the meat and he quickly pour for her some water inside the glass and gave it to her.

what did he mean by that? it seems like he wanted this marriage to work and she the opposite.

She gulped all of it and placed the glass on the table, during all this time the prince was patting her back, his one hand was on the table and the other one was patting her back.

"Are you okay?" he asked and Melissa turned to face him and for the first time since she got married to him she was staring at his face, the minute their eyes met she was unable to look away, he had a mesmerizing face and it was damn to close to hers.

He had small bright deep black eyes, thin nose, cleft chin with trimmed beards he also had small thin lips and his hair fell behind his back perfectly.

She was sure that if they can attend beauty consent with Lukas he would surely win. She couldn't imagine that crossed her mind.

"Ye...Yes I am okay, you can go back to your seat now." She stammered after swallowing hard. she couldn't believe he was staring at him like that and she was also unable to look away.

The prince went back to his seat, but he couldn't help but wonder what was wrong with her, her eyes were cold and her words are harsh. He got it she didn't like him.

"My lady, may I know your name please?" he just figured out he still doesn't know her name.

"Melissa." She replied with a stern look as if saying I don't want to talk.

They proceeded with their breakfast quietly stealing glances from each other.

"I can tour you around if you want to see the palace." He suggested but she refused, she just wanted to be alone.

After breakfast Prince Demetrius told Melissa he will see her later, and she figured out he must be busy since he was the future King of Owalo, after the servants cleaned the chamber she climbed on the bed and again her mind shifted to Lukas.

Everytime she remembers the promises they made to each other she just shed tears, what sin did she commit in loving him? It was hurting but their was nothing she could do to make the pain go away, she needed to forget him, but how? the memories were playing in her head like it happened moments ago. She sobbed silently, she needed to forget him but that was not going to happen if she just sit alone, sitting alone will only remind her of him and she will miss him alot.

She stood up and went to the mirror, fixed herself before heading out, she opened the door ready to go out but before she could get out she bumped into someone and she could tell from the strong muscles it was a male, she closed her eyes as she waited to fall down but suddenly the strong hands encircled her waist preventing her from from falling.

Her eyes were closed tight her hands traveled to his neck and encircled it tightly, slowly by slowly prince Demetrius put her back to her feet he was looking at her how scared she was of hurting herself.

"You can open your eyes now my lady." He said looking directly at her face.

That voice that sends chillies down her spine it was none other than her husband, Prince Demetrius.

She slowly opened her eyes and met his, he was staring down at her with a tender gaze, why was he staring at her like that? and why was he this good looking, he was being way to nice to her? Slowly her eyes traveled from his forehead to his lips.

What? what was she doing. No matter what she must not make this marriage work, so her heart only belongs to one person and she will live to cherish it even if he is no longer in this earth.

"You can let go of me now." She stated in a harsh voice.

"Huh, My lady you're the one holding up to me."

"No I am not." She scoffed.

Demetrius followed her hands and it was true, she was holding him tight as if her life depended on it.

"I want you to meet some people." He informed after they let go of each other.

Melissa didn't argue she nodded and Demetrius lead the way to the garden where some men were lined up.

One by one he introduced them, they were five.

"Nice to meet all of you." She stated after he finished to introduce. And again he left with them.

"Olivia and Ola, can you take me to the library please." she requested and the girls agreed.

Before she arrived in the library a woman bumped on her and gave her a peace of latter and luckily the two girls didn't see instead they were glaring at her.

"Once again I am sorry my lady." the lady apologized again trying so hard not to be seen.

"Is okay." She felt like she has heard the voice several times but she couldn't remember where.

She folded the later in her hands to check later, Heading to the library she couldn't help but wonder why did that lady gave her the latter in the first place and what was going on, filled with curiosity once the ladies showed her the library she quickly send them away to bring her some fruits.

Once they left she opened the later, she was shocked by what she saw, 'LUKAS IS STILL ALIVE' and their was also a picture of a hut on the map showing her kingdom and Owalo kingdom with the road map.

"What?? she gasped,,he is still alive, Lukas is still alive." She whispered with tears of Joy.

"Wait no one was suppose to find out about this, not in this palace if anyone finds out I will be in trouble." She stated.

She must find out who gave her this latter, but she was barely new, she knew no one in this palace.

She abruptly stood up to go look for this woman, she didn't know where to go, but she decided to go with the way they came with.

She was few meters away from the library when suddenly someone called.

"My lady." It was none other than Prince Charles.

"Good morning My lady." He greeted jovially she was with his sister who just smiled at her as she also greeted.

"Good morning."

"Are you alone?" Prince Charles enquired.

"Yes, why?"

"Where is my brother I don't see him anywhere."

"He left minutes ago and I was with my handsmaid I just sent them to get me some fruits."

"I can't believe my brother just left you alone, I mean what is more important than your wife."

"I am sure he has more important things to do." She stated he didn't want that man near him especially now that she found that Lukas was still alive, may be they can escape again and this time no one will be able to find them.

After what encountered in the morning she feared, the way her heart keeps skipping a bit everytime she is close to him that was not a good sign at all.

"If you say so princess, you should watch out though you never know may be he is with one of his mistress somewhere you never know." He rambled looking at her face for any reaction.

To his surprised the lady didn't have any reaction at all. Which left him wonder if she didn't care at all if her husband was with another woman.

When he was growing up he witness how his mother would become restless whenever his father the king was with his first wife, she would not even concentrate on anything whenever he was with her.

Even though it was evident in everyone's eyes that the king really loved his first wife.

"Brother I think you have said enough,,,,," Helena glared at him. She was aware that her brother doesn't like their step brother since they were children, she just never understood why.

"Actually it doesn't matter who is with right now, after all he is married to me, those are just mistresses, tonight is just going to be the two of us." She was surprised with what came out of her mouth but she didn't show it, why the hell did she say those words.

Prince Charles didn't like those words at all, he wanted this princess to hate him not to defend him, his face twitch but she managed to hide it.

Meanwhile Helena liked her so far, the way she talked completely showed her how great effects her brother must heave on her.

"Yes, you are the one married to him,,,where are you going? I can come with you while this brother of mine goes to find something useful to do." She said pushing her brother with her hand.

"Actually I am going to the garden to get some fresh air." She lied. How can she tell her that she was looking for a woman who gave her the latter.

"See you later, My lady." He said then left.

No matter what he must find a way for her to dislike him, he must prove to his father that his brother was incapable of rulling this Kingdom he must find a way.

Helena lead them to their biggest garden and they sat next to each other.

The were chatting happily about random things when suddenly they were interrupted by Olivia and Ola with the fruits.

"My lady." they said placing the fruits on the table.

"What took you so long?" she asked.

"Actually we were looking for you my lady, after we found out that you were not in the library." Olivia defended bowing down.

"That is when we met prince Charles and he told us where you were." Ola added.

"I am sorry for troubling you so much."

"Not a problem my lady."

After, the two ladies stood some meters away from the princesses.

"So tell me Meli how was is it? was my brother rough or gentle?" She asked with a mischievous smile.

"What are you talking about?" She asked taking a bite of an apple pretending she didn't know what she was talking about but she knew damn well what she was asking.

"Come on Meli you know what I am talking about,,the deed,, wedding consummation?" Melissa told her her name.

"We didn't do it." She replied and Helena's face which was glimmering with so much excitement suddenly turned gloomy.

"Why?" She asked.

"I was not ready for it." she wasn't ready or she didn't even know if they will even do it.

"What did my brother say."

"Actually we didn't talk about it."

Melissa looked at her she really did care for her brother. She always wished she to have a sister or a brother she could play with, scold to tell secrets to but she never got one.

"After I get....She wanted to say something but she was cut of.

"Are you troubling my wife sister?"

"Brother,,, She said standing up and enveloping him in a hug,,,how are you?"

"I am fine, did you know that the Alex is waiting for you in your garden?"

"He is here?" She asked with excitement.

"Yes he is here."

"How come no one told me about it."

"He arrived minutes ago."
