'Am I dead?' was the first thing that came into Alexandro's mind as he slowly opened his eyes.
Everything was hazy and fuzzy, he couldn't really exactly tell what was going on, but one thing is certain, he felt heaviness and pain.
Indicating he's not really... dead.
'B-But where am I?' Alexandro then tried moving his hands towards the front of his face, only to find a bulging large gray hand that he can slowly move at will.
"Huh?!" he immediatedly reacted in shock and surprise, only again to find out his voice was now different, instead of the old and familiar voice of his, it's now even much more croaky and deeper.
"What the..?" he tried speaking again, but it has still the same tone from earlier.
Alexandro then slightly started to panic.
'Am I really dead?!' Alexandro then tried to frantically turn his head in every direction, with the hopes of finding any clues as to what happened to him, only to find out that he was currently lying on the ground, his gaze pointing heavenward.
He then proceeds to touch every part of this strange body he ended up in using his hands.
At every poke in each part of his skin, he felt weird, a sensation that he hasn't felt before, the feeling of numbness and lack of feel.
It was like he was the same person but with only a different body.
'This is unbelievable.' he tried sitting up from his current position, only to find out he was really larger than he ever thought.
Now that he finally had a view on his lower body, he couldn't help but gape in open mouthed shock and amazement as he stared at his large muscle bulging behemoth of a body, complete with eight pack abs and countless scars that spread all over his body.
Not to mention the grayish skin he had.
'What in the name of god?!' his gaze then moved towards the clothing he has, he is currently wearing a tattered brown loincloth that only covered the middle part of his body, and the few bone necklaces and accessories he had on now.
But before he could react once again, he suddenly heard a voice behind him.
"Reku, you're finally awake!" Turning his head around, Alexandro can only stare shockingly at the most ugliest creature he had ever seen in his entire life.
Large bulging muscles, green colored skin, and a disfigured face complete with two long protruding tusks coming from his jaw.
Not only that, it was actually talking to him and he can also understand the words coming out from the creature's mouth.
It was as if the two of them were the same creatures.
Wait a minute... Alexandro then drew his gaze towards his body and after staring at it for a few seconds, he then moved it back towards the creature in front of him.
With the sudden string of strange events happening one after another, Alexandro couldn't help but faint once again.
.
.
Opening his eyes, Alexandro was forced to close it once again after the blinding light of sunlight shone upon him.
"Ugh" he slowly muttered in annoyance as he place his hands on his eyes in an attemp to shield it from the bright light.
But suddenly oticing the tone of his voice and the gray large hands that seems to be his, he couldn't help but panic once again as the memories from before suddenly went surging inside his mind.
'This can't be true.' Alexandro thought as he sat right up from his previous lying position.
Not only that, the familiar creature from before was spotted along with a few other creatures huddled up around a block of campfire, seemingly eating something.
But the noise Alexandro made when he sat up had already caught their attention.
"Reku?"
"He's finally awake!"
And just like that, all of them then came running towards him.
Alexandro, unsure of what to do, just stood up and stared at the group of creatures who finally arrived in front of him.
"That blow must've hit you hard." one of them said.
'What blow?' Alexandro thought, confused.
"Here Reku, something to eat." one of them extended a roasted meat towards him.
'And who's Reku?!' Alexandro became confused at their words, seemingly he can understand them which is really strange and surprising.
There's too many questions popping up inside his mind one after another.
'Who are these creatures?'
'Why can he understand them?'
'How did he ended up here?'
'What happened to his body?'
'Is he really dead?'
As he pondered over the questions, the orcs in front of Alexandro has now noticed his strange and unusual behavior.
"Reku, are you okay?" one of them placed a hand on Reku's shoulder, causing Reku to be startled and swat the hand away.
"Wha..?!"
Reku stared at the creatures for a moment, before turning his head around to examine his surroundings, they seem to be in the middle of the woods, with tall large mountains protruding from the distance, their size still visible.
Then then drew his gaze back at the orcs who were dumbly staring at him.
"Who... am I?" he slowly asked in their tongue, which caused the orcs to be shock and surprise at him.
But before the orcs could react and respond to his questions, another dizziness suddenly enveloped Reku, causing him to faint once again.
As his unmoving body fell to the ground below, the orcs couldn't help but stare at one another.
"Did the blow knock the memories out of him?" one of them immediately came to an assumption.
.
.
"Ugh" muttered Alexandro as he opened his eyes, but the first thing that greeted him was the face of that particular orc from before, the one whom he had first met before fainting.
At the sight of the orc, Alexandro immediately sat up and stared at him, unsure of what to say.
'So everything is real huh?' Alexandro thought, with the recent memories flooding right inside his mind about the two events earlier.
"Before we start, I'm going to need you to calm down Reku." The orc calmly said to him in his deep guttural tone.
'Reku? am I Reku?' Alexandor thought as he stared at his new body whilst listening to the orc in front of him.
But that simple action triggered the sudden rush of memories that belonged to the previous original owner of the body he found himself in.
Due to this, a headache, most painful than the ones he had ever felt before suddenly throbbed, causing him to place both of his large hands in his head amd squeeze it, in a seemingly vain attemp to relieve the pain.
'What is this... agh, it hurts!' Reku then gritted his teeth in agony, enduring the pain that has befallen upon him.
The orc, seeing Reku's distress, decided to run over to where the rest of the orcs were staying before calling out to them for help.
By the time they all arrived, the new Reku is finally standing, the pain already gone.
Not only that, he already understood everything as to what happened to him.
'Did I just ended up in the body that belonged to another world right after I.. died?.' the concept of transmigration and another universes may sound strange and unbelievable to him, but as to the recent events that happened to him, he couldn't do anything but accept the new reality before him.
Apparently, he was an orc named Reku, a big strong warrior respected and feared by his fellow warriors, but was also known as a muscle head, incapable of doing complex thinking other than simple speech and understanding.
And as to what an orc is, they are a species of large humanoid figures that composed of multiple races that was also divided into multiple clans and tribes, each having their own history and specialty.
After the battle against an orc race called Terkit yesterday, his Gork nameless clan moved deep in the woods to rest when they stumble to another deserting Gorkan clan called Traku and came to an disagreement with them whether to stay and fight the Terkits once again or run from the battlefield with tails between your legs.
The disagreement immediately turned into a bloody battle once the Traku chief killed the chieftain of Reku's clan over an insult.
Although they were victorious, Reku's clan was almost shattered to the point that they were now considered a tattered band of orcs, their petty clan destroyed over a small dispute.
Not only that, the blow from his head during the battle may have been the one to start everything that has happened so far.
Sighing, Alexandro... or should I say Reku, now turned his eyes to the darkening sky above, indicating that the day was finally over and it is now the time of night and darkness.
Turning his gaze back at the orcs staring in front of him, a sudden flicker of ambition lighted up inside his heart.
'Thank god for this second chance... if there is any god existing to begin with.' he then made his way towards the group of silent orcs and frowned.
"Go get me some food, I'm so hungry!" he suddenly yelled at them.
