Unexpected kiss.

"Slow down! That's the fourth one." Sean reprimanded as he took away the glass from Anna.

"Mr Wesley doesn't have to worry about me. Give it back" Anna demanded, as she grumpily tried to take back her glass which has been snatched away.

"I am not worried about you. I'm here to keep an eye on you in case you run away with my money." Sean uttered.

Anna's face was sullen at Sean's words. "Right. You told me not to act friendly since our relationship is nothing more than a debtor-creditor one."

Sean took a deep breath as his expression seemed a bit forced. "You know it."

"Are you crying?" Sean asked Anna while massaging his forehead.

Tears flowed freely down her face as Anna replied, "I am not crying. People say that tears are the fruit of people's emotions. But the truth is.... they are more helpful in protecting our eyes."

Sean took a dip of his wine while holding his glass with his delicate fingers and said, "So are you telling me that you were trying to squeeze out tears to protect your eyes?."

"Yes. Something like that." Anna tried to get up but her legs failed her. Just when she thought she was going to fall, Anna found herself in a firm embrace.

"You are drunk." Sean swooped her up, and her head spun from the abrupt motion. She clutched his neck tight as she shut her eyes. Her lashes fluttered as she moaned lightly in Sean's neck.

"My head is spinning."

Her voice was coquettish and alluring.

Sean felt his body stiffen and gulped. He paused in his tracks for a moment before making his way into the car.

Sean brought Anna into his apartment. Gently, he placed her on the bed.

"Hey! Don't look down on me." Anna attempts to get up, but her head is spinning around.

Sean pushes her back to the bed. "No one is looking down on you."

Anna looked up at Sean with droopy eyes. She kept giggling and then held Sean in the face.

"Mr Wesley, Do you think I can do it? Do you think...I can protect the gallery?." Anna asked sadly.

"Yes. You can. Believe yourself." Sean asserted. He heaves a silent sigh. This girl is cute. She didn't know this was torture for him.

"Thank you." Upon saying it, Anna reaches for Sean's lips which caught him off guard. He could feel all his self-control and rational self dissipating into thin air as she moaned.

He returned the kiss and deepened it as he slowly pushes Anna onto the bed. He traced her velvety smooth skin down from her arms. Her soft skin was irresistible, and Sean found his breathing increasingly erratic as his Adam's apple constricted from the surmounting desire coursing through his body.

He closed his eyes and drew himself away from Anna's lips. Then, he jolted away from the bed and turned around to head for the bathroom. Sean had only come out of the shower after some time. His upper body was bare, exposing his muscular and firm chest. He stood at the side of the bed with only a towel wrapped around his waist and transfixed his gaze on the woman for some time before he put on some clothes and headed out the door.

Jennifer was about to go out for breakfast after freshening up, the doorbell rang. She opened the door and saw Sasha standing outside with breakfast in her hands.

"Why? You and I are no longer friends" Jennifer snapped.

Sasha gazed at her without saying anything.

"Come in!" Jennifer said, before walking to sit on the sofa with a grungy look on her face.

"Let's have breakfast. We'll get you a gown after this." She has to wear an evening gown for her birthday party tonight.

"No. I don't want to." Jennifer replied, then poured her a glass of water. "I will cut ties with you."

Sasha kept quiet for a while before she lifted her gaze and said, "Okay.....Okay fine."

Jennifer grinned widely while saying, "I prepared this soup. Give it a taste." She served a bowl of soup diligently to Sasha.

Sasha took a sip and, within less than a second, spat the soup into a tiny bowl. She took a napkin and wiped her mouth. "You seriously need to marry a chef".

"Is it that bad?" Jennifer muttered with dissatisfaction. Hence, she took a sip of the soup as well and almost died from the peculiar taste.

"Seriously.....!" Jennifer frowned.

With a sullen face, Jennifer turned to Sasha, "You have to go somewhere with me."

At the mall streets, Jennifer threw on multiple pieces of clothing Sasha for to try on.

"You got to try it on before you know if it fits," said Jennifer as she pushed Sasha into the fitting room.

Sasha and Jennifer spun around the whole stretch of mall street for that entire noon. The back of the car was filled with shopping bags.

"Next to the salon!" Jennifer said.

"Next time. Let's call it a day for today." Sasha was famished at this point.

"Fine. Let's eat first." Jennifer dragged Sasha.
