Chapter 48: Omega Male

Tian Jun Devin is the spy's hero. He's so calm and collected, and he didn't even flitch when Regina stormed towards him.

Somehow, Arkham's the spy, not Tian. To be honest, the young Devin is more suited to be a spy than the actual spy. Unfortunately, Tian was born in a rich household, and he's an omega.

"Young Master Devin." Regina's smile was rather aggressive. "Your room is over there." She pointed towards a door, but her sharp eyes didn't leave the male omega. "You can walk in just fine. No one is crowding the hallway."

"What are you doing with that butler?" Tian Jun kept his chin high, his honey brown eyes blinked once as they looked at Arkham. "You know, if you provoke them, whatever happens to you isn't their fault. Shall I report you and save you the trouble?"

Alexa was the first to use her pheromones. A whiff of jasmine and orchids penetrated the air, and the new butler shivered again. If it wasn't for his scent blockers, he would be dead by now.

The three other female omegas followed along with Alexa's hostility, so soon the hallway smells like spring, with Alexa's jasmine scent leading them, there's a strong hint of lavender, rosemary and strawberry. It feels like a dream for most alphas to get this much omega scent on them, but the situation right now is nothing pleasant.

Tian Jun Devin was unfazed by the sudden warfare. The male omega released his own pheromones, and he smelled like early winter.

Arkham shallowed, fuck... Pines and maple trees... The four female omegas together makes spring, and Tian alone is winter.

"How about you be a good guest and keep your mouth shut?" Regina sneered at the male omega. "A rich young master like you had and will have years to snatch one of the alphas. From a fellow omega, if you don't bother us, we won't bother you."

"I'm not bothering you." Honey brown eyes looked at the older female omega with pure disgust and disapproval. "You're making a commotion in front of my room. You and your little co-workers are also keeping a butler from performing his duties."

With the attitude of a spoiled mistress born from generations of wealth, Tian Jun put his hands on his hips. His pheromones intensified, making Arkham's knees weak.

An omega who smells of frost and winter, his personality is equally as cold as his scents made him ought to be.

"We are all guests here." Alexa moved away from the new butler, and she made her stance behind Regina. "You can't tell us what to do. If you have a problem, go complain to the head butler."

"What makes you think you're on the same level as me?" The omega male's tone was dripping venom with every word. "A family friend is more valued than an escort, Alexa. If Mr. Aster loses me, he loses a business partner. If he loses you, he loses a toy."

At this point, Tian took a step forward, making Regina back away a little. The male omega took his time walking towards the butler, and the two younger female omega scrambled out of the way.

"We're all omegas, young master." Regina tried to reason, her tone changing from bitter to sweet in a heartbeat. "Why don't we work together? I'm only asking the butler to help us with Young Master Mar and Liam. A great omega such as you should be able to score an alpha with a little bit of help."

"If you're as good of an omega as you claimed to be," Tian Jun turned around and faced the older female omega one last time. "Then, you don't need help. I don't need to score any alphas, but Young Master Mar does need his butler."

The male omega side eyed Arkham, and the butler immediately straightened his posture. Long lashes over honey brown eyes blinked once before moving away.

"Now get out before I call Petrov." Tian Jun didn't spare them a glance as he opened the door to his room. "We all know whose side he'll take."

Young Master Tian Jun Devin truly deserves the title of being a Young Master, because the male omega didn't close his door. He kept eye contact with the two older omegas until they decided to leave. Alexa was the first to walk away, and the two younger omegas, Avery and Olivia, followed behind her. Regina gave Tian Jun a glare, but she followed her fellow omegas anyways.

Once the sound of their high heels disappeared into the living room, honey brown eyes moved to the new butler. Arkham gave the male omega a nod of thanks, and he was about to make a run for it when that elegant voice called out for him.

"Arkham."

The butler turned around to see those honey brown eyes looking at him. He can't really tell what the male omega was thinking when Tian Jun was wearing a neutral expression. The young master stepped out of his room and closed the door behind him, all while keeping eye contact.

"I'm going to Young Master Mar and Liam's room." The male omega took long elegant strides, towards the new butler, only to pass by the spy. Pine and maple still wafted in the air around the young master as he side eyed the slightly taller butler. "Were you on your way there before those vixens kidnapped you?"

"Yes, Young Master Tian Jun!" Arkham nodded politely and gave the omega male a small smile. His smile was genuine this time, because really, this omega male just saved him from a lot of trouble. "Thank you."

"Alright." The corners of Tian's lips lifted up just a little bit, but he turned away before Arkham could take a good look at it.

Expensive loafer heels clicked on the floor as the omega male made his way towards the living room with the butler two steps behind him. The spy was beaming at this point, he doesn't even care what business Tian Jun has with Mar and Liam.

Once they're in front of the two alphas' bedroom, the omega male knocked once before he turned the door knob.

The spy and the young master were graced with the sight of two alpha males in their prime, both in various stages of undressed and showing off their physiques.
