I watched as Arturo walked through the door and raising an eyebrow, I did not say a word.

I knew that he was only back because my mother spoke to him. He wouldn't have come back if she had not.

"Uncle Arturo!" Lili said, excitedly as she saw him walking inside.

The little girl loved him a lot, but I couldn't blame her. She saw him as the man who saved her life. Maybe, in theory he was.

Had I listened to him. I knew that nothing would have happened. Her mother would have been alive.

"Hello, little bug." He said, teasing her.

She laughed as he lifted her in his arms, and I couldn't help but find myself smiling when she giggled as he kissed her cheek.

"Welcome home." I said, raising an eyebrow.

He put Lili down and watched as she walked away before her, raising an eyebrow at me, crossing his arms over his chest.
