"I do," Audrey said, looking me in the eye as she did.
Her heart raced against her ribcage, but her eyes remained void of emotion. If anything, one would think that she didn't even care about this marriage happening to begin with.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride." I leaned in and connected my lips with hers. She kissed me back as I cupped her cheeks, but when we pulled away, instead of the smile that I saw on her face earlier today, I saw her eyes void of emotion.
The two of us held hands as we turned to walk to the pack members who were watching us.
"I am glad that you agreed to come." I said, looking at Audrey whose eyes met mine. She didn't say a word for a few seconds, I knew that she was upset, but I didn't know how we were going to manage how to do anything.
