"Hey!" Jean shouted, protesting when someone bumped him from the opposite way, and when he saw who that person was, he put a flat face on and then folded his hands in front of his chest while he stared at him. That person is Terry Lewson, and he seemed in a hurry and ended up bumping Jean on his way.

Jean frowned when he saw Terry covering his neck with his breath panting. "I-I'm sorry, Jean," he said, walking through Jean in a hurry like a few minutes ago.

Jean shrugged; he didn't want to know about him, even if he looked like someone was chasing him, because Jean also had to hurry to meet his friends and the plan for his birthday. They have an appointment to talk about Jean's birthday at the river they usually use as a place to hang out. But Jean guessed that his birthday would be celebrated at that place like the other plans they had made before.

Jean needed ten minutes by bus to arrive from school, and he memorized where he and his friend usually gathered. Jean was startled when hearing Lucas' laughter from his standing right now, and it was so weird when lately he felt that sensitive about Lucas and all he did, even if it was just the sound he made.

One of the big trees in here with a big kerf of broke love shape made by Jimmy is a mark that the place is theirs. Jean saw Jimmy lay his head on Dion's lap, and they looked like they were in a serious conversation enough. Lately, Jimmy has become closer with Dion; after yesterday, Dion said he knew his problem a bit because their school is the same in nine grades. Jean also saw Ken and Warren; they were conversing while Lucas... Jean gulped when Lucas stood up and came to him.

"Hey." Lucas greets him.

"H-hey." And Jean replied nervously.

That uncomfortable feeling came again with stale air around him, and his throat felt dry directly after Lucas stood before him. Lucas escorted him, and Jean thought he wanted him to sit next to him, but Jean immediately takes sat next to Ken and Warren; the reason why Jean didn't want to take sit next to Lucas was he didn't want to feel like he in Sahara; sweaty, thirsty, and feel nervous all along. After he sat there, Ken, Warren, and the others stared at him strangely because Jean still looked like in Sahara on a lovely evening.

"Guys!"

Jean turned his head to someone who was shouting to call them; Louis came to them with his hands waving at them cutely and enthusiastically, but immediately Jean scowled his face after Louis' arrival. It's not because of Louis; Jean suddenly feels upset because of a person Louis brought.

That person is Terry.

"Wow, why are you bringing... an omega here?" Jimmy stood up from Dion's lap and said the last word with a lowered voice, but still, everyone could hear his voice.

"He's such an idiot," Jean grumbled.

"This is what I want to tell you guys, Terry—"

"Hey, omega, did your heat pass?" Jimmy asked. "Don't heat in here because I don't want to be horny." And he forwarded it immediately.

They laugh because of Jimmy's joke, excluding Lucas; he doesn't think that a good joke, so his face looks scary enough, especially in Jean's eyes. Jean gulped because he was the one who realized Lucas, while Terry just smiled at Jimmy.

"You guys wouldn't feel horny because of it, you are just an ordinary person, not an Alpha, and it's impossible an Alpha looks like you," Terry replied to Jimmy's joke, and he was the one who laughed because of it.

"What the hell?" Jimmy grumbled.

"Exclude Christian," Terry forwarded and smiled when he stared at Lucas. "He looks sexy enough to be an Alpha."

Reflex Jean glared at Lucas, while Lucas just shrugged when his eyes met Jean. "So, what's made you come here with Louis, Terry?" Lucas immediately changed the topic by asking Terry.

"Stop, just stop! I'm the one who will tell you!" Louis shouted and grunted because he felt upset that Jimmy cut his act with that joke, and now Lucas will take it like he doesn't exist here now.

"Alright, go ahead, Louis," Lucas said to let Louis be.

"Terry asked me where I would go, and I answered, I wanna meet you guys. He also asked if Lucas would be there, and I answered Ya." Again, Jean glared; why was that omega looking for Lucas? Jean knew that Terry and Lucas are the same classrooms, but he didn't know they were so close. Jean feels upset about something he didn't understand; why must he feel upset about their closeness? "He was kinda messed up, and you guys must know it. He also forced me to let him with me." Louis forwarded.

Jean clenched his hands and realized he was upset about Terry and Lucas.

"After this, I wanna talk with you, Christian."

Jean grunted, suddenly stood up, and spoke with a high tone enough. "Hey, this is about my birthday. We make some plans for my birthday, remember?"

What the, is Terry called Lucas by his first name? It sounds gross, Jean thought.

"Aw, that's right, let's celebrate your birthday here!" Louis was the first who responded to Jean enthusiastically.

"We always celebrate everything here, right?" Ken replied, sneering.

"That's right, and it's boring." Dion and Warren replied to Ken while nodding.

"If that's so, let's find a new place." They look toward Jimmy, who looks like he is on thinking seriously with his fingers clamped on his chin. "Let's celebrate at a nightclub, dancing like crazy and getting drunk like a frustrate and pass out." His recommendation made everybody glare at him.

They know that is just Jimmy's desire because he feels stressed lately after telling them about his past and the cause he hates Renan and his complicated love-like triangle. How stressed he is when he tells them that he saw Renan and Gerald kissing in the school's toilet, as if they could feel what he felt.

"You birthday?" Terry asked, and Jean seemed doesn't want to answer it. "Happy birthday!" And he exclaimed.

"That's the day after tomorrow," Jean replied snapped.

"I think you should stay at home." Suddenly Jean got goosebumps when Lucas spoke, he turned toward him, and for some reason, Jean felt afraid of him absurdly. "I warn you, stay at home."

His friends sighed, disappointed, and protested against Lucas because he disrupted it while he responded by laughing, but Jean as if unmoved because Lucas' warned like a final warning. His body is shivering and sweating; that warning makes him feel afraid. It's like Lucas has something that dominates Jean.

"Hey, are you okay, Jean? why are you shivering like that?" Ken asked because Jean was next to him, and he worried that Jean felt sick or something.
