"AAAAH!" I scream.

My cousin violently hits me with a pillow whilst I was watching Frozen.

"Stop it Lucas! Or else I will stab you in the back with a knife," I growled.

"Knife? For your information, I can heal fast because I'm a werewolf," he pointed out as I rolled my eyes.

"Well, uhm..I will stab you with a knife...IN YOUR BALLS," I yelled as his eyes widened due to my harsh words.

Ugh, boys get scared so easily

Suddenly his face changed from being playful to serious and I knew what was coming ahead.

"Mom and dad are saying that Alpha Jake is coming to take you back, so get ready," he said.

I don't want to, I am supposed to be angry at him.

"No, I want to stay here," I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

"I know you love me but you have a father who loves you more." he said playfully.

"Oh, really and who told you this lie" I said competing with him

He put his hand on his heart and acted like he is hurt.

Oh, hurt my foot!

"Okay, whatever I'll go," I said getting up.

No I am definitely not going because of Lucas. I am going because I know that I can't stay mad at my father for so long. I went downstairs to see my father AKA Alpha Jake; Alpha of the Moonlight Pack.

I was angry at him because I wanted him to find another mate AKA a second chance mate, because it has been so long since my mother's death.

I know he loved my mother very much and loosing a mate is very hard but you also have to move on because life passes with time and you have to let go of some pain from the past to carry on with the future. My mother told me if you loose a mate, your life will very hard and you will be depressed, until you want to kill yourself to get out of the misery.

She also said that some mates are very strong and can handle their selves to live after their mate's death and that's what I wanted for my father. I never thought of a mate though for myself, so loosing a mate is out of the question. I'm 15 years old right now so I don't really have to worry about a mate.

Anyways, I saw my father sitting with Lucas's parents. I walked there and my father stood up and hugged me.

My dad loves me and I am just ignoring it! I should as his daughter understand how much he loves my mother and cannot see anyone in her place.

"Okay I'll go," I murmured in his chest.

"Thanks dear, I knew you were my favorite daughter" he said.

"I am your only child" I said with a poker face. I pulled away from the hug and said

"Sorry dad, I realized now that it's not that easy going for a second chance mate when you loved mom so much."

"It's alright dear, I am just glad you understood" he said patting my back.

We said our good byes to Lucas's parents and went to our pack house.

Lucas's father was my father's brother, my uncle and our beta. My father and his relationship was pretty good.

I went inside in my room and flopped on the bed. I took a glance at the clock on the wall

9 PM.

I stood up and walked over to my closet, grabbing a towel and undergarments and walked over to my bathroom.

Time for a shower.

I stripped and made sure the water was at the right temperature and let the hot, warm water envelop my body.

I walked over to my closet in my towel with my hair dripping tiny droplets on the floor. I got dressed in my pjs and turned on my dim lights and closed the ceiling lights. Walking over to my bed, I saw something unfamiliar on my nightstand.

A book?

I picked up the jet black book and read the title written in big bold letters: 'Biggest Packs In The History of Werewolves.'

I opened it and read the first few lines.

"The Blood Thirst Pack. Obviously, the most dangerous pack of all, is the Blood Thirst Pack. It's pretty much our..."

I trailed off skipping to the next few pages and finding ours was the second biggest pack in the world.

My eyes darted to the left page, the page before my packs page, which showed the leaders of The Blood Thirst Pack.

After that I closed the book and went to bed.
