Chapter 6

Lorain

'It was a dark night, my mother was in my room reading me a story because It was my routine, a story before sleep.

Suddenly a sound was heard, my door opened and my father was standing. he asked my mother to follow him and she did. they went outside and I can hear them talk but not clearly.

Then what happened was unexpected and from that night I didn't see my mother. I only heard her blood curling noise. that was the voice I heard before darkness took over me.'

I woke up from the sound of someone banging my door.

That dream more like a nightmare, it came again. that night that haunts me will never leave my mind.

I was snapped out my thoughts by another knock.

I opened the door and saw Tina standing there with an irritated face.

I went towards my bed and lied there leaving Tina on my door step. She frowned and came towards me.

"What happened, are you okay?" she asked.

"Yeah I am fine. Why are you here?" I asked not being rude.

"Oh but why are you sleeping, you want to tell me something?" she asked showing concern for me.

"No, I was just tired so why you came here?" I asked again, almost repeating the same thing.

"Oh yeah, I was going to the mall with Kate, wanna join, it will be our our first shopping ever!" She squealed.

"Did you ask Kate if she is coming?" I asked her.

"No, but her answer will be yes of course," she said.

"Are you sure, she found her mate," I said.

"She did?! How do you know and who is he? Oh my god, why did nobody tell me!" She shouted.

I can't help but giggle.

"She found her mate today and guess what he is my best friend and my cousin," I said.

"Today? Is he the one who came with you?" She asked.

She knew about how I crossed their pack line and how Hunter is my mate.

"Yes he is the one, let me change and then we can go." I said.

"Okay," she said.

I just turned to go to my bathroom but stopped from a her voice.

"Wait," she said.

"Yes?" I asked her.

"We will buy some clothes for you and it will be my choice, do you have any makeup?" she asked.

I don't use makeup so I don't have any, Kate asked me if I want but I refused.

"No I don't have, but why?" I asked because she know I don't put makeup on normal days.

"I know you don't makeup normally but I am planning a surprise party for Landon and you will use makeup," she said.

"But I don't wanna join," I whined.

"You have to and we will change your appearance so you look beautiful and Hunter will be all over you," she said.

Ignoring the Hunter part, I pouted.

"I thought I was already beautiful," I said making a sad face.

"You are but you look beautifuller," she said.

"Beautifuller? Is that even a word," I asked.

We are literally almost recreating the movie Frozen's part.

We both laughed.

"Okay okay, now go change we don't have time," she said.

I went towards the bathroom and washed my face with face wash and brushed my teeth not because of bad breath cause I don't have one but because I like the taste of my tooth paste and because I just woke up.

I took out another pair of clothes that Tina gave me earlier, she gave me a black sleeveless top with the Adidas logo printed on it and some ripped shorts.

Not that reveling.

I pulled my hair into a messy bun and popped on my white converse, given by Tina.

I went downstairs to see Tina sitting on the kitchen stool munching a carrot.

"Tina?" I asked to get her attention.

She whipped her head towards me and smiled.

"Lets go," she said while taking my hand into her

We went outside and I saw Kate pushed on a tree by Lucas and her face looked like tomato when she saw us looking at her and hid her face into Lucas chest.

Me and Tina burst into laughter.

Lucas glared at us and I raised my hand in surrender.

When we walk passed them, I heard Tina shouting to them, "Use protection!".

Which made me laugh more and Kate blush and Lucas stared at her.

We were walking towards Tina's car when Tina bumped into someone.

We both whipped our heads up wards to see that Landon is the one who Tina bumped into.

Tina smiled sheepishly at him while Landon gave her a questioning look and then put his face in the crook of her neck.

"Landon stop it, Lorain is here," she said while pushing his face away.

Landon suddenly looked towards me and bowed his head.

I looked towards him almost confuse at his action.

"Beta Landon," I said.

"Sorry Luna for disrespecting you the other day," he apologised.

Is he the same person

who was rude towards us.

"It's alright and please don't call me Luna, I am not the Luna of this pack, call me Lorain," I said.

"Please don't reject us Luna," he said.

"Please call me Lorain," I said almost begging.

I hated being called 'Luna.'

"If you agree you are the Luna of the pack," he said.

I sigh and nodded.

He diverted his attention back to Tina and looked too lovingly towards her that it made me jealous.

Only a little, because I also want someone like this doing this to me.

'You have Hunter, he loves you,' my wolf said.

"So where are you going my dear," he asked Tina.

"You see Lan, we were just going to mall and buy some clothes," she said.

During this she wrapped her hands around his neck and kissed his nose then forehead and cheeks.

But Landon hold her by her waist and kissed her lips. making me giggle and Tina blush.

"Lan, we are getting late," she said pushing him away.

"You can go but at one condition," he said.

Tina groaned and stomped her feet.

"Yes my darling," she said in her fake sweet voice and fake smile.

Landon put his mouth towards her ear ad whispered something making Tina face red but she nodded.

She grabbed my hand and dragged me towards her car.

We sat in her care and we drove.
