Lorain

"Sister?" I asked curiously.

"Oh yes! I'm his sister and I know who you are and I'm very friendly, wanna be friends?" she excitedly asks.

She is so cute.

"But the rumors said that..." I said, more like asked.

The book I read when I was 15 years old told about this pack and that both brother and sister is cruel.

"Rumors are fake girl," she says in a fake white girl voice.

She didn't look a bit like Alpha Hunter's older sister.

She was a pretty tall blond lady, with blue eyes.

"Yeah sorry," I said.

"You are so pretty oh my! I'm so lucky to have you as my brother's mate," she said.

She knew, but how? Did Hunter tell her?

I stared at her wide eye.

"I know you are his mate," she says, like she was reading my thoughts. "I saw it in his eyes, love and happiness! He was so happy, which was pretty rare since he barely ever smiles."

I could barely believe what she just said.

"Happy?" I asked, confused.

"Yes, happy but why you ask that?" she asked.

"Uh - never mind we both don't want mates right now," I said.

"Are you kidding? Mates are the best things in life, I know Hunter doesn't accept it neither do you because you both are immature, but later you both will know," she winks.

"But, how would you know?" I blurt out instantly regretting it. I cup my hands over my mouth and she laughs.

"It's okay. He rejected me but don't worry, I don't care about him anymore."

I can see her trying to show me the happiness in her eyes but I didn't miss the sadness in it.

"Why?" I can't stop myself and I blurted out once again. I'm such a fool!

"I am so sor-" I said but she cut me off.

"No problem, I'll tell you. he was the playboy of our pack and I never really liked him, he rejected me because of that whore Sanori," she said.

"Was the playboy?" I asked.

She busted out laughing.

"What?" I asked.

"You don't want to know what happened, when Hunter got to know about it he banned them from the pack and now they both are a rouge," she said smiling in the end.

"Ouch," I said still trying to take in what she said.

"I wish you have a second chance mate," I said.

"Oh, I wish too but no problem if I don't get one," she said.

"Okay, so lets introduce ourselves, I'm Kate the sister of your mate," she said trying to lighten up the mood.

"My names Lauren Canning, I am the daughter of Alpha Jake, Alpha of the Moonlight pack," I introduced.

"You have Alpha blood?" she stared at me with her mouth dropped open.

"Yeah," I said as we talked more and more and I also got to know she was friends with Tina as well.

Suddenly, the door opened and in came a sweaty Lucas.

Lucas was panting, but he unexpectedly, I saw that Lucas sniffing the air aggressively as his eyes landed on Kate as both of them stared at each other. Then Lucas and Kate at the same time blurted, 'Mate'.

Oh my god.

Lucas took big steps towards Kate and put his head in her neck. I took that as a cue to leave the room.

I decided to go talk to Alpha Hunter.

Wait!

What's wrong with me, he is not my Alpha so I will only call him Hunter. I don't know if Lucas will stay here or he will go back to our pack. Well, I should go talk to Hunter about myself to go back to my old pack.

Lucas will talk for himself.

I gather up all my courage and walked up the stairs towards his room. I knocked on the door and when I heard a low grunt then a 'come in', I went inside.

Hunter was sitting on his bed with only wearing a tank top and shorts.

When he saw me his eyes widened but then composed him self.

"What?" he asked in his deep voice.

"I wanted to talk to you about something," I said.

He was silent so I took it as an offer to continue myself.

"I came here to thank you about not hurting me and Lucas-" I was cut off by a growl by Hunter.

I just ignored it.

"But I want to go back to my pack and until then can I tell my father that I am fine," I said.

But quickly heard a growl not just a growl but a very loud one.

I looked in Hunter eye to see it changing in different colors, darker one.

He took some steps towards me.

I was so scared so I took some steps back until my back hit the door and I was trapped between Hunter and the door.

I looked Ii his eyes when he started speaking.

"You aren't going anywhere Lorain. I won't let you, do you hear me?" he yelled loudly in an angry voice.

I was so scared so I nod my head.

"Say it." he growled.

"Y-Yes," I was stuttering.

"Good, now get out," he said.

I regained myself and anger burst thorough me.

How dare he ask me to stay here and then order me to get out.

I just glared at him and turned around just to make my back hit Hunter's chest.

Sparks erupted when my sling touched Hunter's and I felt Hunter becoming stiff and sucking in a breath.

"Shit, I am loosing control," I heard Hunter mumbling.

It means his wolf is taking control.

I pushed Hunter away with all my strength as I saw him leaning in and his eyes becoming yellow which mean his control is almost finishing.

I ran to my room and locked the door.

Thank god. That was close. Wait, where did Kate and Lucas go?

I am so happy to see them like this.

I walk over to my bed and jump on it, going into a deep slumber.
