Alpha

James knew he had already won this battle but he wanted the Alpha to say so, now that he had demoralized the packs absurd courage which came from nowhere, he wanted them to acknowledge him as the New Alpha.

"ALPHA." James was brought out of his inner excitement as the leader of the pack was down on his knees, "do you relinquish your title as Alpha and acknowledge me as the only Alpha across the seven lands?, do you swear to pledge allegiance to me and fight by my side until you breathe your last breath?" James asked in terrifying way, the whole clan at this moment were watching the scene unfold. They couldn't believe that their was such a coward who didn't even try to fight back but who could blame him when he was facing something never seen before, they were glad they didn't go through with their plan as they would have been brutally dismantled.

The girls had heard the passerbys that the Alpha didn't even fight, so they knew it had been done and so they made their way to the square, upon arrival they saw dozens of people going down to their knees chanting "ALPHA," they were astonished as to how many were pledging their loyalty to their mate, this was different compared to the other three territories who gave some form of resistance but this clan submitted once their Alpha had been subdued.

"Look at that, he has managed to get people together without any blood spilled, the gods will be ecstatic." Lunar said looking at the crowd chanting and pledging their loyalties to James.

"Yes it's amazing, to think that I always regarded him a weakling not less than a year ago, he is surely blessed and through him we are all blessed." Elizabeth said admiring her mate and wondering how life would be if she had been claimed by someone weak or maybe someone else apart from James and just that thought almost made her want to puke.

When it was time to move, they were accompanied by 15 of the land's best fighters, they made their way West instead of East, because people were expecting them to move East because it was where the stronger packs resided but James knew that the stronger clans could rely on their own help but those with weak defenses could team up and make it hard for him, of course he could handle it but he wanted this done without shading too much blood.

They made their way West, not wasting another second further as he wanted this done before the humans found out about his plans and start making things difficult because of their fear, he left the fighters just outside the entrance to the first pack territory they had found and this was because didn't want to draw attention to himself so they went in disguise and made way to a market where a festival was taking place, this festival was to celebrate the good fortune and well being of their Alpha who had liberated most of the people here, before the pack was formed, these people were just prisoners or Lab Rats for the pesky humans as they called them.

Someone saved them one by one and in appreciation they decided wherever he were to go they'd follow but over the years the said Alpha just changed over night and the humans were back again but this time, they would get five children each week and those children will never be seen again, this festival was celebrated by big bad wolves in the leadership circle and they were being forced to celebrate it because if they didn't celebrate the said festival, two of the families pups would be taken.

James sensed a foul mood from the people celebrating, he couldn't help but feel sad for everyone here. "why do these people celebrate the festival with long faces and despair?" Elizabeth voiced out the same question running through their minds.

"Even though people live here, this place looks dejected of Life." James said looking at woman on a window looking back at him with pleading eyes, so James approached the woman.

"Hello Lady, what's happening in this town?" James asked the Lady who was looking at him earlier and now she was on the verge of crying, "My children," she cried putting her head on his chest.

"Shhh, tell me what happened to your children." James said stroking the woman's hair trying to calm her down.

"It started just after our Alpha lost his mate, he changed and became this hard, never smiling and always angry. one day the humans came, instead of refusing the deals being brought by the humans, he accepted them and the deal was to offer protection to him in exchange of pups each week." The lady Said as she let everything out, Jack learned where they were keeping the little ones and without realizing what was happening, he had begun changing, capturing the attention of the people celebrating.

"Who is responsible for this unspeakable and obscene behavior?, have you no heart? tell me who is giving these orders at once." James was seething with anger.

People had gathered together looking at him, some were praising him for speaking up and some were feeling sad for him because he didn't know what he was doing.

Some Humans had gathered also, trying to see who had the guts to go against them now that they knew what killed these beasts, they were experimenting on them, trying to get the lifespan of the wares without being warewolves themselves.

Suddenly a surge of power beyond their understanding enveloped James, it looked like he was on fire but he wasn't hurt or burnt anywhere. They were all dumbfounded by the sight and before they knew it, they were running for their lives.....
