Listen Carefully
Damien followed the messenger out of the room. Down the winding corridors, they went towards the council's meeting room. When they arrived at the door, about to enter, Damien stopped the messenger. He waved him away, indicating that he would enter on his own without being announced.
Since Safira had fainted, things in the pack had improved. The cure she and the other wolves made worked well. But now that most wolves have recovered, they now have the time and energy to gossip.
A small group of wolves suffered from the side effects of receiving the cure. After finding out that Safira was insistent on adding the Lava Lotus into the cure, some deduced that it was her doing.
As they put it, it was Safira's way of getting back at them for the pain she had suffered. Damien was livid when he heard about it. It took Diana, Archer, Greyson, and Seth to physically stop him from doing anything stupid.
