Atticus' POV:
"I don't think we can reach a consensus," I looked into Eloise's eyes and replied seriously. At the same time, I was also analyzing her expression.
But she simply looked at me. There was nothing in her eyes, which made me feel confused.
A long time ago, this pair of eyes would have looked at me differently. At least back then, she wasn't like this.
I didn't think so. We could still have a good discussion. She sighed softly and continued to look at me with the same expression.
It looked like her heart had been hurt by something, which made her add another barrier to herself.
"Don't you know very well who hurt her?" My wolf sneered with a voice that sounded like it was gasping.
"But you don't want to admit it. You think she's annoying, and you don't love her—something like that."
"You can't be an Alpha just by having sympathy." I disagreed with its point of view.
