"Elder Teddy, bring your two companions over. So we may thank them for saving your life. "Daina recommends.

I cried as I thanked her.

After all the grief I'd caused her, I couldn't believe she didn't hate me.

"I don't sure how I'll ever thank you for your compassion. I may be elderly, but I pledge to serve the pack forever. I'll go gather my buddies and return as soon as possible."

Almond stated as he entered, "Elder, the succession ceremony can't be postponed."

"Decide quickly."

Jeric nodded to Elder Almond.

"I'll handle my personal matters ASAP."

Hearing this, I guessed he was talking about Alice. I wished him success and wisdom in handling the situation.

"Almond, you made it!" I told my buddy.

"After saying goodbye to Jeric, I'm leaving the Rainbow House to find those two guys, but I didn't expect to encounter you here."

"Teddy, take me with you!" he begged.

"Two's better than one" moved me.

He still cared for me after years apart.
