"Dafina, you won’t hurt me. I’m still alive. You didn’t kill me. It was all a dream." Kayden held my hand and pressed it against the left side of his chest. I could feel his heart beating regularly. I stared into his eyes which were looking at me so warmly. Tears continued to fill my eyes. I wrapped my arms around his waist and brought myself to lie on his chest. His warm, his gentleness, the safeness I was feeling, everything… I started crying out loud. I was scared. I was afraid to lose all of this.
Every night, that dream was haunting me. It had been 2 weeks. Kayden might have been freaked out by me. I would always scream in the night and startled him. I felt bad. He had not been sleeping well lately because of me. And today when I woke up, he wasn’t beside me. I headed to the bathroom to wash myself up and went looking for Kayden. I stopped in front of the study room when I heard voices coming out from there.
