[Continuation of Pete's flashback]

Pete and the Alpha paused, going speechless as they never expected Barry to blurt out his love for Pixie to them.

Pete blinked at him, swallowed and pressed a hand on the side of his head.

The Alpha rubbed his forehead just the way Barry does, showing the striking semblance between them. "Love" He whispered, bringing out air from his mouth. "What do you know about love?" He questioned his son, riling him up.

"I know a lot of things about love, things you never taught me" Barry retorted, expressing his emotional injury in his voice.

The Alpha's eyes darkened. "Barry" He growled.

"It is the truth, Alpha" He stated firmly to the powerful werewolf "And I am gonna chose the girl that showed and taught me love over any fucking thing"

The Alpha smirked confidently "Are you ready to chose her over the Alpha position?"

Barry's dark green eyes boldly went straight into the Alpha's "I am ready"
